Carrefour makes sales on the web again, now focusing on mobile first. The new application launched by them, called My Carrefour, available to Android e iOS, initiates the actions of omnichannel with customer relationships, discounted products, coupons and purchases.
Coupon and discount features will be available throughout the country, however, food e-commerce is still restricted to some regions of São Paulo (200 neighborhoods in the central, west and south regions).

The food e-commerce has been in closed trials since last year, but is now open to the general public. And with the intention of expanding to the entire city of São Paulo and, in the future, to other cities in the country.
The model is simple: the customer chooses the products in the app and makes the purchase. The idea is that, in a maximum of 24 hours, the items are available for delivery. It is possible to schedule 6 time windows for delivery between 7 am and 21 pm.
For this new operation, Carrefour is setting up distribution centers that are called Black Store, which function as a market. Employees receive orders placed through the app, assemble the packages and the products are dispatched by bicycle, motorcycle, car or vans.
