On Sunday night (19) we had the 73rd Emmy Awards the event that rewards the best television programs in the United States. Known as the “Oscars of Television” the Emmy brought together the top shows aired from June 1, 2020 to May 31, 2021. 392c4u

Stand out as the most awarded series The Crown da Netflix, with seven awards; and Ted lasso do Apple TV + with four awards.

Unlike the last year's edition that had been online, with the right to an audience of cardboard celebrities, and videos of the stars recorded from their own homes, this edition went back to being in person, which generated a lot of excitement for the event that brought together several celebrities from the main series of today.

The Emmy 2021 had as its presenter Cedric the Entertainer, who kicked off the event by singing “Just A Friend” by Biz Markie as a tribute to the singer who ed away in July 2021. What drew attention was that the sung version of the song cited the award nominees. Some celebrities ed the presenter to sing the song, such as LL Cool J e Rita Wilson.

Michaela Coel won the category of Best Screenplay with I may destroy you. In addition to the script, Michaela also plays the protagonist of the series Arabella, a writer who was developing her newest novel, and one night she goes out to have fun with her friends - and ends up suffering sexual violence. Michaela in her speech dedicates her award to all victims of sexual abuse:

“Write the story that scares you, that makes you feel insecure, that makes you feel uncomfortable. I dare you – in a world that entices us to navigate other people’s lives to help us better determine how we feel about ourselves and, in turn, feel the need to be constantly visible, as visibility nowadays seems to be a challenge. somehow equates to success – don't be afraid to disappear from her, from us for a while, and see what comes to you in the silence. I dedicate this story to every survivor of sexual violence.”

RuPaul stood out on the night by receiving the Emmy for Best Competition Show for the drag queens reality show RuPaul's Drag Race, this being his 11th Emmy. With this award, he becomes the most awarded black artist in the history of the awards, suring the director of photography. Donald A. Morgan, which has 10 awards.
