Still in the implementation process, to perform audio to text transcription on WhatsApp it is important that your WhatsApp application is updated to be able to transcribe audio. So, before that, do this check (and update) in App Store ou Google Play Store. So, follow the steps:
Step 01: on the WhatsApp home screen, access the Settings/Settings from your WhatsApp in the drop-down menu by clicking on the three dots in the upper right corner. Here:
Step 02: click "Conversations";
Step 03: select option “Voicemail Transcription”;
Below that, choose your preferred language (between Portuguese, English or Russian).
Transcribing audio to text requires an internet connection (via Wi-Fi or mobile data). Another factor is that anything transcribed will not be sent to any server. Meta also emphasizes in the press release that “no one else, not even WhatsApp, can listen to or read your personal messages".

It is worth ing that the release is being done gradually, so in these first moments, it is possible that you will not actually be able to activate the functionality. But all Brazilians should have access to it in the coming months, so it is only a matter of time.
