After many rumors and a previous confirmation from Mayor Eduardo Paes, today was the day of confirmation of Lady Gaga's historic show in Copacabana: the singer returns to Brazil to perform on May 03rd, this being the first time she has performed here in 13 years. See all the details.

At a press conference for the annual event “Everybody in Rio" Eduardo Pais, mayor of the city of Rio de Janeiro, confirmed the realization of Gagacabana for the day May 03 out of 2025. The show should follow the format of Madonna's 2024 performance, scheduled to take place from 22pm on the first Saturday of May this year.
The big show of Lady Gaga in Brazil is scheduled to last two hours, being the singer's only appearance in 2025. The main sponsor will be the beer brand Corona, in addition to the Banco Santander, AC, Can Airlines and the music streaming service Deezer be among the brands involved in the big show.
Eduardo Paes also took the opportunity to confirm that the Todo Mundo no Rio event will be held for the next four years, with an annual concert by a major music star taking place every first week of May. This means that we will have a special performance in 2026, 2027 and 2028.
Return after 13 years
Going back in time a little, Lady Gaga's return to Brazil should have happened a long time ago. The singer was scheduled to appear at the iconic edition of Rock In Rio 2017, but with just a few hours to go, due to a fibromyalgia crisis — a chronic disease that causes pain throughout the body — the show had to be canceled.
