This is the category announced by Microsoft in May 2024 for computers capable of running the Copilot assistant locally, with exclusive features. The company mentions that models certified as Copilot+ PC can be considered “the fastest and most intelligent ever created”, due to the use of processors with a high number of TOPS. To be a Copilot + PC, a notebook must meet the following requirements:

  • Have at least 16 GB of RAM memory;
  • Have storage of at least 256 GB via SSD;
  • Have an integrated NPU with at least 45 TOPS of performance;
  • Have a key dedicated to Copilot artificial intelligence on the keyboard;
  • There is no notch on the display.

Furthermore, a very interesting feature is the new tool Recall (something like “Recall”), which allows the to access virtually everything they have seen or done on their PC in a way that feels like a photographic memory.

Os Copilot+ PCs organize information based on relationships and associations unique to each of its individual experiences. This helps you things you may have forgotten, allowing you to find what you're looking for quickly and intuitively, just using the hints you .
