We do showmetech we were able to try out Lenovo's new portable console, the incredible legion go. We played and approved a lot!

Lenovo Legion Go is a landmark expansion of the Lenovo Legion ecosystem of gaming devices, displays, accessories, software and services, which allows gamers to immerse themselves in their games on the go. The device is designed for gamers who demand top-notch specifications and visuals in their portable devices. 

We've already talked a lot about the console here on the website (check out the full article here). But it's always a unique experience when we feel the console in our hands and everything it can provide. In the new Legion Go, a super immersive experience awaits you, on an 8.8-inch screen, touch screen and with Quad HD quality (including Lenovo PureSight QHD+ technology).

In the demo of an action game that we were able to try, it was possible to see how beautiful graphics can be on this “big little” console. In addition to the incredible performance it can offer, the usability of its system (the Legion Space) and the arrangement of its buttons is completely -friendly, except for some somewhat sensitive buttons on the back, where our hands hold its controls.

What was it like testing Legion Go? 52e2l

The Legion Go features 16GB of LPDDR5X (7500MHz) RAM with power management flexibility, which delivers optimal gaming performance and faster load times depending on the scenario, as well as an up to 4TB PCIe Gen1 SSD and micro-slot. SD with for up to 2TB of extra storage.

Its 49,2Wh capacity battery makes gaming time last longer, without the need for recharging, as the Lenovo Legion Go also s Super Rapid Charge, allowing the battery to recharge up to 70% in just half an hour. Lenovo Legion Go controllers feature Hall effect joysticks, meaning no joystick drift and minimal dead zones, which maximize responsiveness and accuracy during grueling gaming sessions. Other inputs include an integrated trackpad, a large D-pad, an angled mouse wheel and a total of 10 customizable buttons such as trigger, side and other buttons that apply to the device's ergonomic grip.

RGB lighting delivers a unique twist on the power button adorned with the Lenovo Legion's iconic 'O', which changes color to indicate the fan's selectable mode, as well as customizable RGB rings around the joysticks that add another layer of elegance to the at the same time as they act as a pairing notification system for the .

The console's Legion TrueStrike controllers are detachable to allow for more flexibility in play styles, as well as enabling FPS mode for impromptu FPS gaming sessions. FPS mode allows the to detach the controllers from the Lenovo Legion Go's body and use the kickstand on the back to rest it on a surface. The undocked right controller is placed in an included controller base that attaches via magnet, and the optical eye on the bottom of the controller allows for the more precise aiming and control needed during competitive FPS games, similar to using a mouse. 

The Lenovo Legion Go features two USB Type-C® ports for connectivity, allowing s to dock and charge the device while connecting accessories simultaneously, thanks to plug-and-play capabilities with for DisplayPort 1.4 and Power Delivery 3.0. Connectivity extends to Wi-Fi 6E as well as compatible for Bluetooth® 5.2. In addition to the up to 4TB PCIe Gen1 SSD, the Lenovo Legion Go has a microSD slot that s up to 2TB of extra storage for even more games. 

Legion Go is expected to be available mid 2024, as well as price definition.

New virtual reality glasses that provide a very immersive experience for any gamer. Lenovo's new T1 glasses can be connected to any device via USB-C and enjoy the best possible way, with maximum comfort, irable display quality and still guaranteeing privacy for the player.

Lenovo Legion Glasses are an advanced wearable virtual display with micro-OLED display technology with a resolution of 1080 pixels per eye, having a high color range and contrast for each eye, as well as a 60 Hz refresh rate, emulating the experience and functionality of a large 70-inch screen, which appears behind lenses that only the can see, which increases the feeling of immersion in games.

It also offers high-fidelity audio through built-in speakers to deliver a portable, private, big-screen viewing experience for Legion Go players and many styles of compatible devices, with a plug and play high quality, designed for long-term use. 

The glasses come with a case, as well as other accessories to allow the to adapt the wearing experience to better serve them. Included are adjustable nose s, a structure for fitting prescription lenses, adapters to prevent the device from slipping off the face, a microfiber cloth for cleaning and the USB-C cable with the 1,2 meter long glasses.

Lenovo launches its new gamer line in Brazil: the Lenovo LOQ – pronounced “lock” –, which allows new gamers to take the first steps on their gamer journeys. Inspired by Lenovo's Legion brand gaming line, the Lenovo LOQ encomes more than just design features, like the ports on the back on its laptops and the stylized 'O' shared in both brands' logos. 

With the launch in Brazil, Lenovo is building a lineage of excellence in gaming PC offerings that are not only for the best players in the gaming community, but also for new and gamers. Lenovo LOQ breaks down barriers to entry for gamers, empowering them to embark on adventures of connection and fun in the world of gaming. New gamers will have plenty of choice with the Lenovo LOQ gaming portfolio, regardless of screen size (15 inches), processor (12th Gen Intel Core U) or graphics (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050 and 3050 laptop GPU).  

Lenovo LOQ gaming notebooks with NVIDIA GPUs feature a MUX switch that allows the integrated GPU to be byed through NVIDIA Advanced Optimus during gaming sessions – available starting with the 30 series. This allows NVIDIA graphics cards to interact directly with the screen and result in higher frames per second with reduced latency, so games run smoother and look even better.

When not gaming, MUX Switch allows the notebook to use the integrated graphics, optimizing battery life. These internal components are kept cool through up to four heat pipes, dual 85mm 12V high-speed fans, and extra-large air intakes and exhausts totaling up to 135W TDP, keeping the notebook cool and quiet enough to a library or coworking space. 

All Lenovo LOQ notebooks are available with up to 16GB of 5MHz DDR5.600 RAM and up to 1TB PCIe SSD (sold separately). All of their notebooks are future-proofed with two slots for RAM and two PCIe slots for storage. For faster charging and longer battery life when unplugged, Lenovo LOQ 15″ notebooks have a 60 Whr battery for up to 6 hours of battery life with for Super Rapid Charge, with both models having a USB port. C® that s 230W charging for greater portability. 

The 15” and 16” Lenovo LOQ notebooks feature a comfortable gaming keyboard with numeric keypad capabilities, 1,5mm key travel, 100% anti-ghosting technology for ultra-fast actuation and precision control, and are white backlit. Everything is housed in a tough 'Storm Grey' chassis made from polymer with blue accents, with the striking new Lenovo LOQ logo prominently displayed on the notebook's lid.

Lenovo and Intel at BGS 2023  1vw3l
