The 74 Emmy Awards, the biggest award in television and streaming, took place last Monday night (12), in Los Angeles. At the event, last year's top series and shows — launched between June 2021 and May 2022 — competed for prestige in different categories. The Emmy 2022 delivered a mix of expected results with good surprises. 4a594w

This year, the event was hosted by actor and comedian Kenan Thompson, who kicked off the ceremony with a dance performance reimagining classic TV shows. One of the highlights of the night was the incredible combination of the pay channel HBO and streaming platform HBO Max, which together won a dozen top awards from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and handily sured rival Netflix.

Another highlight was the participation of the series Round 6, which went down in Emmy history. The production was the first non-English-language production to win an Emmy. the series of Netflix won with best direction, for the episode of the already famous “fries 1, 2, 3” and especially Lee Jung-Jae as best actor. Succession, this year's nomination leader, took home the top and most prestigious award of the night: Best Drama Series. In the performance categories, however, the production of HBO only took in the category of ing Actor, with Matthew Macfayden. Other highlights of the night include second award as an actress in a drama for Zendaya (“Euphoria”) and trophies for actor and actress in a miniseries for Michael Keaton (“Dopesick”) and Amanda Seyfried (“The Dropout”).
