The big news at today's event is that Copilot Actions is integrated with Microsoft 365 to help companies have a more automated day-to-day. Leaders can schedule messages and requests to be sent to the entire team or to a specific person. It will be possible to request the action that the person or the entire department needs to send and also schedule a date for it to be sent. But it doesn't stop there.
The most interesting thing about Copilot Actions is that the request can be tracked directly in the Microsoft tab Copilot in Microsoft 365 or via email. Whenever a person sends an update on what the leader has asked for, in real time.
Although all the details are provided by each , Copilot will have the autonomy to create short summaries that help save time on a daily basis. All requests can be sent daily, monthly or at any other frequency you choose.

In practice, also in the Microsoft 365 Copilot section with AI, leaders will be able to select a series of files that will be read by AI and, in this way, have an agent on the subject.
This will be done through Copilot Studio, Microsoft’s platform that will train agents based on data from institutions. Copilot Studio will also third-party applications such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Zendesk.
Copilot Agents can also be trained from scratch by companies. One example of use shown at Microsoft Ignite 2024 was the possibility of the AI agent being able to read an email, analyze the inventory, the 's email and generate a response focused on closing a sale. This way, employees can focus on more complex activities, without having to perform hours of analysis.
Another way to use it is in SharePoint: agents can be integrated into Teams chats to answer questions, used in meetings and more. All new features will be available to all Microsoft 365 s at different times. Copilot Actions are currently being tested by a small audience, with general availability to follow at a later date.
Copilot Agents will be released to everyone “in early 2025,” with no specific date given at the time of writing. Finally, the Microsoft Security Exposure Management suite of solutions has exited the testing period and will be released to all interested parties starting today, November 19, 2024.
