How could we explore text on the future of Smart Glasses (Smart Glasses), technology companies are investing heavily in this new trend and leaving behind the idea of the bizarre prototype of the Google Glass for something simpler and more functional. For some time Bose announced a new augmented reality Smart Glasses designed for “add an audible layer of information and experiences” for your everyday life. The first product on the platform Bose AR is a pair of glasses that do not have an integrated camera or lens (as in Google Glass or other similar devices).
Instead, it has “a tiny, wafer-thin acoustic package” that gives glasses the sound and functionality of headphones. The glasses sync with your phone and allow s to use head movements to control music or scroll through playlists.
Bose AR products are still a long way from hitting store shelves — the glasses are currently a prototype — but the company says they are already collaborating on integration with companies like Trip Advisor, Strava, TuneIn and Yelp for the production and dissemination of the device.
In addition, the design of the Bose Smart Glasses is directly inspired by the glasses that wearers use in their daily lives, in the same way that the Intel plan to do. The idea here is to integrate something we already use in our daily lives with the emerging technology of Augmented Reality without making us look ridiculous or bizarre with a clunky design device on our face.
Being able to control music with just head movements is the first step towards making interaction with this type of device as natural as possible, so we can expect that in the future other types of commands in Smart Glasses will also be performed with simple body gestures.
