There are things in Apple that cannot be understood. One of them is the ThunderboltDisplay, the 2011 Apple display, which is still being sold but is officially discontinued. 5o4g3n
The monitor costs U $ 999,00 (R$9.299,00 in the Brazilian store), it has a resolution of 2560×1440 and is considered too expensive for such an old product.
The good side, at least, of saying that these monitors will no longer be manufactured, is that they start to pop hearsay that Apple intends to launch a New model more modern.
According to TechCrunch, a spokesman for Apple stated that the monitor will indeed be discontinued, but that it will continue to be sold until stocks last.
“We are discontinuing Apple's Thunderbolt Display. The product will be available on Apple.com, in physical Apple stores and authorized resellers, while supplies last. There are, however, a large number of other third-party options available to Mac s.”
While this could mean that the company is exiting the monitor market, it could also mean that Apple may release a new model with 5K resolution, called "Apple 5K Display“, with USB-C port, Thunderbolt 3.0 and an integrated GPU.

Another product that has its days numbered is the MacBook Pro 2012. This is the last MBP to have an integrated optical drive and hard disk memory, in addition to not have a retina screen.
With this Mac starting to disappear from store shelves and becoming more and more hidden from Apple's website, the can be more hopeful for an update of the line.
The new MacBook Pro with retina display is expected to be released in american autumn, along with Apple's new display model.
