A Apple is planning to launch a new subscription service for iPhone e iPad. According to information released by the Bloomberg, the idea is that people can purchase branded products by paying a fixed monthly installment, as easy as subscribing to apps on the company's virtual store. Apparently, the project is still in development and, if put into practice, would mean Apple's biggest boost in recurring sales automatically.  373m3q

Currently, for those who live in the United States, the company already sells iPhones through the American telephone operators, where it is necessary to pay a monthly subscription fee for the device. In addition, there is the Apple Upgrade Plan, which includes AppleCare + and the option to update your device after paying for 12 months.

iPhone and iPad Subscription can help Apple to generate more revenue. The iPhone is currently the company's biggest source of sales. () Only last year, there were raised nearly $192 billion with sales of the device, which represents more than half of the company's revenue. Adopting a hardware subscription service would represent a major strategy shift within the company.

Subscription cost would be a pre-fixed price from the subscribed model instead of 12 or 24 times installments of the total device cost. The objective would be to encourage people to change models as new releases come to market. The monthly fee, however, is yet to be determined.

Also according to the US specialized media, the iPhone and iPad subscription service is planned to be launched in late 2022 or early 2023. Wanted by Bloomberg, Apple has not commented on this new project.
