A China was one of the countries that suffered the most and still suffer from the pandemic of COVID-19 as well as the rest of the world. And even with the disease still on the loose, some events, with all possible care, happened again. As a way to avoid new cases with the arrival of Beijing Winter Olympics, which takes place between February 04th and 20th, China chose to put a robot bartender to serve journalists.

Being able to create alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in about 90 seconds, the model can also take orders and work autonomously. The Asian country is focused on preventing the games from bringing a new wave of the COVID-19 pandemic and the technicians have thought of all the steps for the model to have autonomy. In addition to a table for all drinks to be mixed, there is a frame with several bottles above the robot bartender, see:

Despite working autonomously, human employees will be on hand to provide any for the robot bartender.

Other robots will be serving athletes and staff 132w1j

As much as the robot bartender idea is quite innovative, it became difficult to put more than one robot bartender to make drinks. But precautions against COVID-19 are also being taken in relation to the athletes and staff that will work in the competitions and these people will also have their meals prepared and served by robots. Everything will be prepared and served on mats, check out this photo shared by the South China Morning Post:

TeslaMic: Karaoke in Tesla cars 2b4516

Being sold for US$ 188 (R$ 996,40 in direct conversion) at China, Tesla, which belongs to Elon Musk, announced the TeslaMic, a kit with two microphones that can be connected to the car's system for karaoke in a car. The idea seems insane and many people may be really surprised, but those who love to release their voice in the most diverse classics will be able to have a lot of fun.

Accompanied by the Chinese New Year starting now on February 1st, an update to the Tesla was also released. through the platform Leishi KTV, the buyers of Tesla Mic they just need to park in a safe place and start singing. There is still no release date for the Tesla Mic in the United States or other countries around the world, with the exception of China.

DIY: Retractable Lightsaber 4064k

Closing our trio, we have the youtuber project AlexLab, who lives in Russia. Known for creating projects that are considered impossible by some people, the fan of Star Wars managed to develop a retractable lightsaber as real as what we are used to seeing in movies.

Model works for 30 seconds uninterrupted and can cut objects due to the high temperature (Photo: Reproduction/Guiness World Records via YouTube)

The AlexLab can be explained as a plasma blade 1 meter long and reaching 2.800 °C. It is possible to use the model for 30 seconds without interruption. Alex cited that, despite being known as a retractable lightsaber, the project is an electrolyser. This is an apparatus designed to generate a high amount of hydrogen and oxygen and compress the gas to any pressure, without the aid of a mechanical compressor.

The idea was also recognized by the Guinness World Records like a lightsaber that actually works. Before Alex Lab, a group of scientists had managed to create a similar model in May 2021, but it was for display only and did not cut any objects. We can't say the same about the Russian YouTuber's retractable lightsaber — which cuts too much.
