This whole story became a book published in 2015 under the name of Losing the Signal: The Untold Story Behind the Extraordinary Rise and Spectacular Fall of BlackBerry (Losing the Signal: The Untold Story Behind the Blackberry's Extraordinary Rise and Spectacular Fall, in free translation). The authorship of the book belongs to the journalists Jacquie McNish e Sean Silcoff and shows precisely the reasons why the Apple managed to get the name out of Blackberry of fame by launching its first smartphone with a touch screen.
In addition to the management problems, it is possible to notice that the two main partners of the Blackberry, Mike Lazaridis e Douglas Fregin, ended up losing control of the company as it grew.
