The new Fast Play technology makes the new chromecast be 18% faster to run media such as Netflix e YouTube.
The renewal was not just about the hardware and the Google also announced a redesign of the chromecast. The idea is to make the device a content center in which the smartphone works as a large remote control (including voice search ).
The content also started to have more options with the partnership signed by Google with several companies in the entertainment industry such as Netflix e Spotify, expanding the range of options. Even game fans were contemplated and the new chromecast gained for several popular games such as Angry Birds, WGT, Monopoly and others that must be released in the next weeks.
Finally, we still know the Chromecast Audio, allows you to connect the device with external speakers, controlling everything through the app. The resource can be paired via Wi-Fi or with the physical cable connection. The device has for connectors RCA 3,5 mm and optical: all synchronized by cell phone. Control can be done via Smartwatch, playing tracks or pausing the soundtrack.
Faced with so many innovations, it would be natural if the price of chromecast experienced a significant increase, but that was not the case. Device price remains the same $35 (around 143 reais, without taxes, at today's exchange rate) that cost its predecessor. The new chromecast is now available for sale in 17 countries (unfortunately not in Brazil yet).
