Although exclusivity is one of the attractive points of the platform, the lack of Clubhouse to Android, the slower expansion of the base and the emergence of competitors — even if different from the app in essence — ended up diminishing the app's popularity. Facebook, Twitter, Spotify, Reddit, Telegram, Discord and even the LinkedIn have already made or are making their clones of the platform — and, without the need for an invitation (outside the beta versions) and with availability for both Android e iOS, some managed to gather more s than the competitor. The growth peaks of Clubhouse February and March were eclipsed by the fall in the following months, and a release for Android, like now, can revive it.

The availability of the audio social network for s of Android, according to the company itself, it was what s asked for the most. This availability, however, is coming in little by little—very little by little. What is available for from Play Store at the moment, it's actually a kind of “beta” version of the platform — which, despite being an official release, doesn't have many of the features of Clubhouse No. iPhone, how to follow specific topics, club creation, payments, integrated translations, linking from other social networks and the possibility to change the name or photo.
Even worse news for us Brazilians is that the Clubhouse to Android it's only available in the US at the moment — the plan is to expand to other English-speaking countries and, after that, to the rest of the world. For now, all we can do is a pre-registration at Play Store and reserve our name for when the app debuts in Brazil. As well as the Clubhouse No. iPhone, you also need an invitation to participate, another access limitation to which we are subject.
For now, it remains to wait for the news to arrive here, hoping that an invitation falls into the hands of a friend – or buying a spot, if you really can't wait. In the meantime, you can test the other platforms, and who knows Clubhouse don't end up opening access to everyone in an attempt to co-opt more s?
