In this week's episode of ShowmeCAST, Fernando Gomes, to comment on what we played, watched and enjoyed in the last week — highlighting the top recommendations in of games, movies, series and events. 6y5t19
We started the conversation with Our Flag Means Death, a comedy series involving gay pirates that has gained a lot of relevance in recent weeks. Starring director Taika Waititi, the series features very authorial aspects of the renowned film director and stands out for the musical character in its first season - which can be checked on the service HBO Max.
Then our guest reports his experience with Titanium, the latest work by French director Julia Ducournau. The film, released in 2021, was received with very positive reviews by the most renowned film festivals around the world for being shocking without much shame or messages between the lines.

The success of The Batman, once again, did not go unnoticed in our conversation: our presenter finally saw the latest movie of the “bat” — starring Robert Pattinson, Colin Farrell and Paul Dano — and highlighted the scenography, photography, acting and quality of the action scenes as the most positive aspects of the work. In addition, we still comment superficially on how the Spanish series, Elite, lost relevance in its last season.
the music festival Coachella was also one of the most talked about topics in recent weeks, so we couldn't help but praise the performance of some artists during their presentations - especially the Brazilians Anitta and Pabllo Vittar, who took the name of our country to the world with a lot of energy and representation.
So we come to a massive block about what we've been playing in the last few weeks. We start with Valorant, a tactical multiplayer FPS from Riot Games that has been popular in recent years among competitive gamers and streamers. We regret the loss of the Brazilian team LOUD in the most recent contest for the world cup as we decide why the so-called comfort games are so pleasant in our daily lives.

Arthur also couldn't help but mention FromSoftware's games in the episode once again: in a monologue that started with getting the platinum trophy in Elden Ring and extended to Bloodborne e Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, the presenter commented on how these games are important to him at times when his hands want to work without thinking too much, just pushing buttons and going along the way.
Finally, we take a moment to talk about deceit, a game presented by Fernando as a “Among Us thriller” that has gained notoriety in recent weeks mainly on Twitch and YouTube. We hope you enjoy our chat and don't forget to comment on the post which recommendations you liked the most!
