Nintendo Direct (13/9) Announces The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and More 6o4o5l

This Tuesday (13th), another edition of the Nintendo Direct. With simultaneous streaming on Nintendo's official YouTube channel and Twitch, fans were able to check out several of the company's news for the Nintendo Switch. 6a2qw

In total, more than 40 games were shown in just over an hour of presentation. Some titles had updates revealed, such as Splatoon 3 e nintendo switch sports. Bayonetta 3, the sequel to a long-running beloved franchise, had two trailers with in-depth story and gameplay.

But it didn't end there! We still had big surprises. The first of these is obviously the title reveal. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the successor to 2017's landmark Breath of the Wild. In addition, its 2023 release date has also been revealed.

Another famous game that appeared was Pikmin 4, a release for the series that has been running for 20 years. For JPRG fans, Fire Emblem Engagement opened Direct on the right foot. Despite rumors among netizens, unfortunately we did not have information about a possible remake of Metroid Prime.

Opening it all up, the first Nintendo Direct announcement was Fire Emblem Engagement, new chapter in the beloved strategy RPG franchise. And best of all: with the date revealed. The title arrives on Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023, with the company already starting work in the first month of next year.

Confirming the rumors circulating on the internet, It Takes Two, winner of three awards at The Game Awards 2021 (including Game of the Year), is officially coming to Switch soon. Players will be able to enjoy Cody and May's incredible journey starting on November 4th this year. Pre-orders for the EA title are available today on the Nintendo eShop.

For fans of classic horror, another remake of the franchise FATAL FRAME It will be released. This time for the fourth title, Mask of the Lunar Eclipse, which will be released in early 2023. After being released for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, it's time for Nintendo Switch to receive TUNIC, isometric action adventure game. Take on the role of a little fox in search of answers on a mysterious island starting September 27th, with pre-orders released today.

Two classic turn-based RPGs will be released for the Nintendo platform. New skills and mechanics were added in these repackaged versions. FRONT MISSION 1st will be available in November this year, while FRONT MISSION 2 arrives in 2023. It was also revealed that a remake of FRONT MISSION 3 will also be released in the future.

It was confirmed during Direct that the unprecedented Splatoon 3, launched this month, will have its first themed event. The call splatfest runs from the 23rd to the 25th of September. Nintendo also revealed that new updates will be coming soon.

Today's Nintendo Direct also featured the first-hand announcement of Octopath Traveler II, new game in the series. The gameplay trailer shows eight travelers on an epic journey through a never-before-seen world. The Square Enix title arrives for the console on February 24, 2023.

As part of the celebration of 35 years of the Final Fantasy franchise, a new music game will be released with 385 songs, from old to new, categorized by title and with up to four players. THEATRHYTHM FINAL BAR LINE is scheduled for February 16, 2023, with pre-sales open today.

Upon release, DLCs featuring music from the SaGa, NieR, Octopath Traveler, Live a Live series and more will be made available for purchase.

Some classic Nintendo 64 titles will land on the Nintendo Switch Online. They are: Pilotwings 64, Mario Party, Mario Party 2, Mario Party 3, Pokémon Stadium, Pokémon Stadium 2, 1080º Snowboarding e Excitebike 64.

All games will be progressively added to the online catalog. The first three mentioned will arrive later this year and the rest only in 2023. Nintendo Switch Online is Nintendo's product so that players can use the online feature in console games. There are plans available that provide old titles from the 64, NES and Super Nintendo consoles. All subscriptions can be viewed on the Nintendo eShop.

As seen in the trailer, the protagonist will live an adventure in a kingdom in the heavens. Unfortunately, no detailed gameplay has been revealed, but we do have a date for fans to rejoice: May 12, 2023 for Nintendo Switch.
