At the end of the first episode of the series Loki, it is clear that the great villain of the series is the same of all the series of the MCU na Disney Plus so far: the six-minute credits. Check out the analysis of this spectacular series from Marvel: 691z57
Jokes aside, in the first few minutes the series brings us comfort, not only because we finally see Tom Hiddleston as Loki, but by revisiting the scene (which revisits) the battle of New York in Avengers: Endgame, the scene responsible for setting the giant precedent that led fans to speculate whether we would ever see the God of Mischief again, and luckily, we were right.
By invading an alternate timeline to retrieve the Infinity Stones, the heroes' failure plan led to the tesseract (the Space Gem) to the cunning god's hands. As we imagined, from now on, anything can happen, but, without a doubt, the Marvel want to go further. Check out our review below. Loki and of course, going forward, we have spoilers of the first episode and of several moments of the whole MCU.
As confused as its protagonist gx1t
One of the greatest charms of God of Mischief, is how unpredictable he is. Something always fascinating to see him in the films of Marvel, is to try to guess what he is going to do in each situation, and most of the time, he surprises. When it looks like he's finally allied himself with Thor at the end of Thor: Ragnarok, he tries to trick you once more.
At the end of the movie, Thor doesn't believe his brother went in the flesh to talk to him, and when we see Loki catch the stone thrown in the air, it's hard not to get emotional.

It is by understanding the essence of the character that the series creates a chaotic environment to the point where the most unpredictable character feels overwhelmed and confused and we viewers are just as confused as he is.
Early on, he is arrested and imprisoned by an organization called Time Variance Authority, which appears for the first time in the MCU. While he makes vain attempts to escape, several new concepts are presented that increase the scope of the Marvel universe, giving grandeur even with footnote-worthy phrases, while piques our curiosity for the novelty. But what exactly is this organization?
Who is the Time Variance Authority? 3y4i

A AVT was introduced into the universe Marvel in issue 371 of The Mighty Thor, in 1986. It is an organization that supervises and interferes (when necessary) in the temporal flow of the entire multiverse. They maintain order in each of the timelines, letting everything that is fated to happen happen, and preventing anyone who in any way threatens that flow.
The headquarters is located in some domain in space-time, in order to be able to monitor all timelines. In the series, she is portrayed with a XNUMXs aesthetic, due to the setting, art direction and, of course, technological devices that are clearly “stopped in time”. Thirst reminded me a lot Commission de Umbrella Academy, which has a visual aesthetic and a similar work of monitoring the temporal flow in that work.
The soundtrack contributes a lot to the air of confusion portrayed, mixing violins, which match the fifties aesthetic, with synthesizers sci-fi, giving an ethereal and cosmic tone.

While Loki refuses to go through the simplest procedures, such as withdrawing a ticket and taking a queue that is completely empty, giving the employees of the AVT, the series wastes no time in introducing new concepts, which make us more curious than following the god.
Who are the Time Keepers? 114r3g

Being introduced in the comics in issue 282, before the AVT em The Mighty Thor, the three Guardians — Ast, Vorth, and Zanth — are super-powerful entities that maintain the AVT through their power, and act as arbiters of the temporal flow, making sure that everything goes as it should.
They are only mentioned in the episode during the court of Loki, and we are told that they protect the Sacred Timeline. Until then, we believed that the multiverse simply…existed, but that's not quite the case.
This main timeline should be the only universe in existence, however, we are told that whenever someone manipulates space-time and acts “against” their pre-ordained destiny, a new bifurcation is created. So, the AVT works by investigating these bifurcations and neutralizing those who interfere with the flow of Sacred Timeline.
Heads up! New names for you to write down in your notebook: whenever someone creates a fork in the main line, a Nexus Event, the anomaly that must be fought, and the person responsible for the event is called Variant.

As you may have already noticed, Loki became a Variant when using tesseract to escape, thus creating a Nexus Event. A chilling moment in this episode was when the god questioned that the real fork was actually not his responsibility, but the Avengers' responsibility — and in that moment, we discovered that Loki he had sensed the presence of a second Tony Stark, understanding everything that was happening.
The judge's response in court was to say that what the Avengers did, had to happen - leading us to better understand the Supreme's speech with the Hulk, when handing him the Time Stone. It still shows us how devastating the threat from Thanos was and that even then, an event like this wouldn't justify the Guardians intervening, as it was known that the Avengers would succeed.
The God reduced to a mortal 6rj54

Agent Mobius, played by Owen Wilson, takes Loki up to a room and in the best style Worth seeing again, shows the events predestined in the life of the god, who does not conform to see his last meeting with Frigga, his mother, who is soon murdered by the dark elves.
The God of Mischief still watches his father Odin's farewell, sees warm moments filled with affection with his brother, Thor, and is horrified to see his life end up in Thanos' hands.
With a well-fed egocentrism even too much, Loki he believed that his destiny was to be king of Asgard and conquer even Earth - appointed by Mobius as Midgard, one of the realms of Norse mythology. We'll pay attention to that in the future – but he finds that it was never going to happen.
Not satisfied, the series wants to impress us more and it goes further. When trying to flee, the god threatens the receptionist to get the tesseract that was left in her drawer. It turns out that when we open it, we see countless Infinity Stones inside the drawer. Multiple Reality Gems, multiple Time Gems. Enough for a few full gauntlets.
At that moment, the incomprehensible level of power of this place becomes clear. Despite the title of God, Loki he sees himself as small, mediocre, without purpose. The damage done by Thanos throughout the universe. How hard had he struggled to get hold of the tesseract and at the headquarters of AVT, employees use the Infinity Stones as a paperweight, says the receptionist.
What to expect from the series? 1m2p6u

After finding himself completely unmotivated and overwhelmed, with the unique and instinctive urge to escape from that place, Loki receives a proposal from Agent Mobius: find and stop a Variant that is causing a lot of problems in the multiverse, taking down several agents of the AVT.
When the god asks who he should go after, the main plot of the series is consolidated: the target to be neutralized is himself. Loki, from another timeline.
The ultra macro view of the universe Marvel it is very deterministic, giving the feeling that there is no free will and that all the events of your life are already defined. But after realizing his smallness in the grand scheme of things, will the God of Mischief be able to stand up to himself? We can't wait to find out.
The certainty we have is that, without a doubt, the future of the series of Marvel No. Disney + is very promising, and while there is a chance that the events of the series will have self-contained consequences, only the bifurcated timeline and the Time Variance Authority, Loki shows plenty of potential to be the best MCU series on Disney+ so far.
Where to watch Loki? 2k5l20
You find Loki on Disney+, streaming service from Disney. The series will consist of 6 episodes between 50 minutes and 1 hour long.
With this expansion of the cosmic scope of the cinematic universe of Marvel, the anxiety for the other works that are to come only increases, right? Mainly for the movie Eternal, which is scheduled for a world premiere on November 5th of this year!
