I never imagined myself using such a compact notebook before, but after testing the Dell Inspiron 13 5330, I started to encourage this possibility in my mind. It's the type of product that only starts to make sense when you have it in your hands and, unlike simpler models, this notebook features an excellent processor and very efficient technologies for productivity, such as a backlit keyboard and fingerprint sensor. As soon as I opened the notebook box, I imagined it to be bigger. A 13-inch laptop can be really small and portable, fitting into a single hand effortlessly. I've seen thinner notebooks (this position belongs to ASUS Zenbook S 13), but this does not take away the merit of Inspiron 13 5330 in being less than 2cm thick. Its weight is only 1,25kg, another positive point to help with mobility.
On the top of the carcass there is only the company logo. Dell, which stands out in the silver color of the product. The bottom is the same as any other notebook, with the only highlight being the air vents. Moving towards the sides, on the left side there are two doors Thunderbolt 4 with DisplayPort e PowerDelivery. This means you can use them to connect an external monitor and also charge your smartphone too. It is through this port that you can also charge the notebook with the charger included in the box.
Next to these doors, there is also a door HDMI 1.4. However, the image quality will be higher with the port Thunderbolt 4, so prioritize using it if you have a compatible monitor. On the right side you will find a USB-A 3.2 1st generation port and a headphone jack. For networks, the only option here is the Wifi, but I go into detail about that later.

Finally, when opening the lid of the notebook, we come across another design success. Even with a thin and small notebook, the edges of the screen are very small and make using the screen very attractive. At the top is where the camera for video calls is located and something caught my attention. Natively, the notebook features a slider button to close the camera and guarantee privacy beyond the software, but also with something physical.

Finally, we come to the keyboard. Of the notebooks I've tested so far, this was the most comfortable to use for productivity purposes. It is all gray, matching the silver chassis and white backlighting, forming a beautiful combination for work. His disposition is all ABNT and with all the resources we need.
Function keys for volume, brightness, key light control and others are here. Something I liked and hadn't seen before is being able to decide whether I want to use the function keys directly, or combined with the key FN . Another cool thing is that the arrow keys found a way to fit in even though the keyboard is equivalent to a 60% keyboard, which usually removes the arrow keys.

The power button is also a sensor and fingerprints and just the fact of having one already guarantees some facilities. This also guarantees more security for the notebook, but I expected something a little more precise. He insists on not recognizing my finger several times, requiring more than one attempt.
And of course, we have the touchpad with just enough size, given the dimensions of the notebook. If it were a little bigger it would bring more convenience, but it is super usable, with all the gestures and facilities that we find on a current touchpad.

O Inspiron 13 5330 It has a 13,3-inch screen. Despite being relatively small, it has a QHD+ resolution (2560 x 1600) with 300nits of brightness and is of the WVA type which, despite the different name, is the good old IPS. It's an excellent screen and, with such a high resolution, it becomes an excellent friend for anyone who works with images and videos. For media consumption, it is also excellent, especially for watching movies, series or even a video on YouTube.
Its proportion is 16:10, ensuring even more immersion and details. Perhaps the only downside here, but only for the most demanding, is not having a OLED. This would indeed make the colors and contrast even more interesting, however the WVA/IPS here does an excellent job. To help, he also relies on technology Dolby Vision.
With what Dell has put into this , my only reservation is that it could have been a little brighter. In closed spaces it is perfect and without problems. However, in bright places, you can feel that the maximum brightness does not do the job.
Performance 58a2u

The notebook Inspiron 13 5330 brings an excellent combination for productivity. The processor of the model I received is the 7th Gen Intel Core i1360-13P (12-core, 18MB cache, up to 5GHz) with integrated GPU intel iris xe which, although not as powerful as a dedicated card, can get the job done for day-to-day activities and productivity software.
There is 16GB of RAM memory L with 4800MT/s soldered to the board, without expansion option. As for storage, the option is a 512GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD and this can be upgraded.

These configurations were very competent for what a 13-inch notebook should be in my view. A portable tool that allows you to work and study anywhere without any problems. Web browsing and high media consumption were the notebook's main functions and at no point did I experience any crashes or choking.
Although it's not the goal, I tested the notebook in two games to see how it performs. The result was as expected. In case of Fortnite, it already came in performance mode and looked beautiful, but with poor and unplayable performance due to FPS drops. Another one I tested was Death Stranding. The problems in it were a little different. Even though we had to wait an eternity for the game to load, it was actually playable. However, the notebook got super hot and the two times I tested it, when I went to close the game, it simply froze and only closed after the error message.
Finally, I tested the notebook in two software, being the Cinebench and the demo of PCMark10. Both tests were done with the notebook connected to the power supply for maximum performance. Check the results now:

Connectivity 5h1q1v

O Dell Inspiron 13 5330 It follows the trend of ultra-thin notebooks and does not have a LAN port. But with the wireless network card Intel WiFi 6E AX211, a super recent standard of wireless internet is guaranteed, in addition to Bluetooth to ensure connection with other devices and ease of data transfer.
In practice, this decision translates into good performance for working anywhere. If you already have a more up-to-date router with Wi-Fi 6 or 6E protocols, you will be able to enjoy better and more stable speeds on this product. On Wi-Fi 5 I didn't experience any slowdowns, but there will certainly be a considerable difference in performance on a Wi-Fi 6 network with more connected devices.
Audio 3n1j5g
The speakers chosen for this model are good, but I've seen similar sized products with better quality, like Samsung's Galaxy Tab S9 tablets. Dell placed two speakers here with technologies Waves MaxxAudio Pro e Dolby Atmos Core, guaranteeing a full-bodied and quality sound, even if not very loud. In places without noise, you can enjoy the experience quietly, but don't expect to use it as some kind of portable speaker. That is not the objective and the product knows this very well.

As the focus is on productivity, think of these speakers just as tools for checking sound when editing audiovisual products, for watching movies and even for listening to your music, as long as the focus is not to cover more than a small room.
On the other hand, thanks to the HDMI output, you can have 2.1 digital audio quality to put into external products. It's the kind of thing that requires greater knowledge on the subject, but it's interesting that the PC allows this.
Battery 554u5p
With a 4-cell, 54Wh battery, this Dell will be able to handle an easy day of work. Of course, this will depend on your type of use, but considering that you will take it with you to the office, in shopping malls or in any other place to be used portablely, between turns on and off, the performance of this battery will improve. translate into a full day of use.
In my uses, I spent almost all the time in the Google Chrome working with texts and consuming videos on YouTube, as well as music on YT Music. With this usage pattern, it lasted around 6 hours. Considering that we have a super portable notebook here, I was super pleased with the result.

To charge it, Dell sent a 65 Watt power adapter with a USB-C connector, but having a conventional power supply is still a problem for me. I dream of the day when I will see all notebooks with chargers like cell phones in all models.
Conclusion 60664y

O Dell Inspiron 13 5330 It is an excellent portable notebook, guaranteeing good performance for everyday tasks and even more sophisticated things. Having a backlit keyboard and a fingerprint reader also makes all the difference here, putting it at a level above the category.
Of course, in good deals you will find more powerful options than it, but hardly any with such good handling and such efficient battery performance. He is a great highlight for his category and is worth keeping an eye on for future promotions.
As I write this review, this notebook can be found by R$5.200 in Magazine Luiza eR$5.699,00 na Dell Store in the configuration with Intel Core i7, the same one I tested. As I said, in this price range you will definitely find much beefier models. However, most of them will not have the same portability as the compact Dell notebook.
