E3, acronym for Electronic Entertainment Expo, an event that brings a lot of news to the world of games and pop culture, had its first edition in 1995 and the public has always been waiting for a new edition every year. However, the COVID-19 pandemic ended up disrupting the realization of this event in recent years: there was no E3 in 2020, in 2021 it was held online and this year, we will see the same format from a distance, again. The organization of the event has not yet announced a new date for the event.

The decision was made by the great wave of people infected by COVID-19 from the variant micron, which has devastated the whole world, but mainly the United States, the country where the event is hosted. Even with the producers' great intention to make E3 this year in person, the decision to maintain the health of those involved stood out.
Due to the ongoing health risks surrounding COVID-19 and its potential impact on the safety of exhibitors and attendees, E3 will not be held in person in 2022. We remain extremely excited about the future of E3 and look forward to announcing more details soon.
ESA, Entertainment Software Association, on the event format change
Despite the format, which is not so convenient, but necessary, all companies that usually participate in the event continue to confirm their presence for the dissemination of their news. big names like Nintendo, Ubifast, Microsoft, Capcom e Warner Bros are some of the examples that participated in the event, in 2021, even online, and that intend to participate again in this year's edition.
