We still talk about an artificial intelligence capable of creating music and also a volcano in Tonga that has been active for almost a year. Check out!

No Showmetech TRIO this week, we will talk about the possibility of Elon Musk leave Twitter; one artificial intelligence who can generate music; and we will also show the activities of the tonga volcano happening since January 2022. 5c1s1n

Come check out the highlights of the week with Showmetech TRIO! You can watch the video on our channel or read the article here on the website:

Elon Musk Polls About Quitting Twitter 5d6r40

The new CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk, usually conducts many polls to interact with other s. Even before becoming CEO of the social network, the billionaire already had this custom. Now, some information and even decisions about the platform are delivered through these polls.

This past Sunday, December 18, Elon Musk created a vote that, in free translation, said: “Should I step down as head of Twitter? I will respect the results of this poll🇧🇷 Currently closed and with more than 17 and a half million votes, the poll presented two options, "yes" and "no" to the billionaire's question. The result was 57,5% for yes and 42,5% for no, that is, if he fulfills his promise, he will step down as head of Twitter.

The truth is that there were already reports that Musk would be CEO of Twitter only temporarily. A month ago, he said under oath that he would find someone else for the job. So maybe the poll was just another one of his marketing ploys. In other tweets, Elon Musk claimed that the company “has been on the way to bankruptcy since May”, and said that the question is not to find a CEO, the question is to find a CEO who can keep Twitter alive.

Artificial intelligence that creates music x5m5b

If you follow the world of technology, you already know that artificial intelligence has been dominating the field for a long time. A tool that went viral recently was the Lens, for creating images based on selfies.

Today we bring news from another area: music. Some image generators based on artificial intelligence go beyond illustrations. People in a band are using the same algorithms to create music.

The project called rifusion is using text-to-picture generation to produce spectrograms, visual representations of music. Artificial intelligence even creates clips! The tool trains with computer algorithms to recognize images of objects and places and uses them to replicate similar images.

Imaging inspired software developer Seth Forsgren and the roboticist Hayk Martiros to see if the programs could be applied to the audio category. Forsgren and Martiros published their results on the Riffusion website, which is intended as a hobby only. But most importantly, site visitors can enter their own text and the site will produce a spectrogram that will play on the site as an audio clip. Worth a try!

At first, we didn't know if it would be possible for the architecture of the Stable Diffusion model to create a spectrogram image with enough fidelity to convert to audio, but we found that it can do that and much more. With each step along the way, we're more and more amazed at what's possible, and one idea leads to the next.

Volcano in Tonga has been active for almost a year 51r39

We have news from research on the eruption of the volcano Hunga Tonga Hunga Ha'apai, which took place on January 15, 2022. Scientists from around the world gathered in Chicago, at the American Geophysical Union, to share the results of research on eruptions that occurred around the world – including the case in Tonga.

Scientists concluded that the eruption plume, the material spewed out by the volcano, had risen so high that it even managed to reach into space. The researchers then studied the flow of rocks, ash and debris to the 80 km mark in the Pacific Ocean.

The sea floor was altered, a huge crater formed, and scientists were still discovering surprising new events related to the explosion and flow of rock – effects that have been going on for nearly a year.

The latest discovery showed the strength of seismic waves generated over the first 10 minutes of full volcanic activity. There was a series of these seismic waves with a magnitude of 5,8. The signals from these waves were picked up by 400 monitoring stations around the world.

Those responsible for these activities even compared the waves to a "magma hammer" that hit a billion tons force. Incredible!

I think it could be like a new batch of magma suddenly reaching the magma chamber and pressurizing the chamber too much. The magma pulse is traveling at high speed and is like a train hitting the base of a wall. Hit four times in 300 seconds.
