According to those responsible for the investigations, the conclusion was that Mark Zuckerberg's company actually sued sloppy information about its s, leaving them vulnerable. The fine also stems from the fact that the platform allows application developers to have access to this information without making clear consent to do so.
With that, Facebook officially failed in its mission to keep s' personal information in Safety, allowing developers to share this information with firms such as SCL Group, an d company of Cambridge Analytica.
Defenders of Britain claimed they charged the maximum possible fine after considering these factors. Want to understand a little more about the scandal? Take a look at our Marck Zuckerberg's apology statement.
