This is a way to help places that do not have a good network infrastructure and at the same time making Facebook s discover new places to go. Initially launched in just a few countries last year, the Discover Wi-Fi vthere is much more than serving as a help to foreign travelers.
The function is available worldwide for both iOS and Android. According to Facebook, the “'Find WiFi' helps you find available Wi-Fi networks near you that have been shared by businesses with Facebook through your Pages. So wherever you are, you can easily find the closest connections when your data network is weak.”

Using the function is very easy.
- To locate Wi-Fi hotspots, click on the “More” tab in the Facebook app;
- Then search for “Find Wi-Fi Networks”.
- In this section, enable Wi-Fi;
- Browse a map with the closest available Wi-Fi points, as well as learn more about the establishments with it.
Now, it will be possible to save the data plan and always be connected to the internet. For travel, the situation will be just as good. Not even the language barrier will get in the way, since Facebook itself will already provide the establishment's Wi-Fi "on its own".
