HUMANKIND game will be free over the weekend on Steam 5z4of

HUMANKIND can also be purchased for 50% during this period; the first expansion of the game, which arrives in November, comes out with a 10% discount.

In another weekend madness, the platform Steam will make available the recent HUMANKIND, released in November 2021, free for PC. It is worth mentioning that the notion of weekend here is somewhat extended, given that the promotion starts today (6th) and ends on Monday (10th). If you don't go to Brazil Game Show and enjoy strategy games of the 4X genre, it's a good time to have fun. 1n5y5e

This test, if we can call it that, was an interesting move on the part of the game's team, given that the first expansion, Together We Rule, already has a date set: November 9th. For those who play and choose to buy the title, the discount on the base game is around 50%; for those who want to go ahead and also take the expansion in pre-sales, it can be purchased with a 10% discount.

About HUMANKIND 6z5e5r

Reproduction: Release

Already trained in the art of 4X gaming, the developers at Amplitude Studios have created HUMANKIND, title quite similar to its famous cousin: Civilization. Basically, you take the reins of the development of a primitive civilization and guide it through all available historical periods, from nomadic times to contemporary times.

For that, the player will need to develop cities that, of course, require resources, such as gold, water, food and more. All of this can be found on a giant map, whose appearance simulates a new planet at every start of the game. It is important to point out that the player can choose types of civilization as he goes through the historical periods, increasing the possible diversity of scenarios and leaving the imagination of potential conquerors quite wild.

How is it different from a game like, say, Civilization VI? Having a few hours of Civilization and seeing some HUMANKIND gameplays on Twitch, I think the fundamental difference is how you win the game. While in the first you have several methods to win the game (military, cultural, religious etc), the second is based entirely on the system of fame. This fame can be obtained by various means, such as those mentioned to deal with the first game, but, in the end, it is she who defines the winner, and not these means.

expansion and update 5y5z1t

In addition to the previously mentioned expansion Together We Rule, November 9th will also be set for the game due to a free update. According to the developers, this update, called Metternich — most likely named after the conservative XNUMXth-century Austrian statesman Klemens von Metternich — will involve new stealth mechanics, combat, independent folks, and interface improvements, common complaints if you visit the Steam comments page.

Anyway, some of the expansion's novelties, as the name suggests, involve diplomatic conflicts and these simulations. For example, add the Congress of Humanity, which is nothing more than a UN Congress, where all players will be able to debate global conflicts and change game metrics. We only hope that this congress is, in fact, more committed to its decisions than its real relative.

You can purchase HUMANKIND for free at Steam.
