All of this can be found on a giant map, whose appearance simulates a new planet at every start of the game. How is it different from a game like, say, Civilization VI? Having a few hours of Civilization and seeing some HUMANKIND gameplays on Twitch, I think the fundamental difference is how you win the game. While in the first you have several methods to win the game (military, cultural, religious etc), the second is based entirely on the system of fame. This fame can be obtained by various means, such as those mentioned to deal with the first game, but, in the end, it is she who defines the winner, and not these means.
