Exactly on September 18, 2013, the owner named “Lee” posted a string of GIFs from the original video that had been posted on YouTube a few days earlier. In less than a month of posting online, more than 895 thousand notes had been recorded in this post, which can be explained as the number of reblogs, likes, and replies that a Tumblr post received.

With the mobilization of part of the internet and Chloe's face being increasingly seen in different corners of the web, especially in the United States, the photo was also posted on the website. Buzzfeed, with the title: "Girl's reaction to Disneyland is the only reaction necessary for anything".

Two months later, the meme's Chloe reappeared on Tumblr, but now with a record that had the caption could u fucking not (maybe you just couldn't, in free translation) and the side eyeing chloe that we all know. In two weeks, more than 120 notes had been made in the same post.

It is only known that the iconic meme was acquired by the music company 3FMusic, based in Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates, and focused on the production of hits. The acquisition was made through an online auction and the family of the little girl in the meme watched the event live.

This was not 3F Music's first purchase of NFTs. There is already information that she also “acquired” a meme related to Disaster Girl, for the value of US$390 thousand, and other column art from the newspaper The New York Times, from United States. With the sale of an image measuring 660×371, each NFT pixel was worth $0,30. The maximum bid for the Chloe meme auction was 25 Ethereum. At the time, the value of this amount of digital currency was valued at US$ 75.315 (something around R$ 400 thousand).
