A Samsung launched this Wednesday its long-awaited new high-end smartphones. Now officially named, the company announced the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.
You can check it here at showmetech all the news from the South Korean company's event that was held in New York, in addition to taking a look at all the device's technical specifications, photo gallery and even a comparison between these models with the previous generation.
The new Galaxy S8 surprises on the screen. With 5,8 inches ( 6,2 inches in the larger version), the smartphone is not to take his face off. Unfortunately, for this year Samsung failed to integrate fingerprint sensor into the screen, but at the same time the South Korean gave several other options, such as facial recognition and iris recognition.
The new smartphones are faster, more powerful and have more internal storage capacity than the previous generation.
One of the coolest new features of the device, however, are linked to the software. Samsung presented its new personal assistant, Bixby, which promises to be just as smart and maybe in some ways even smarter than Siri and Cortana. With similar functions of Google Translate, Samsung's personal assistant can also, for example, translate signs into other languages in real time, just pointing the cell phone camera at her.

Another feature that stands out is the “Secure Folder”, which allows the to store photos, texts and applications in a way that only he can access digitally.
In fact, by adding extra layers of protection such as facial and iris recognition, the South Korean company shows that an extra touch of security is always a solution and no problem.
