Below is the review by Breno Caldeira, of a brand new HTC Wildfire, released in late 2010:
Carcass: 2i3l1d
He's handsome :] One of the cutest cell phones I've ever seen! It's not boxy or round, it doesn't have that “piano” color that I don't really like and it has few chrome parts. The design people did a great job! I think he's even more charming than Desire. It is neither too light nor too heavy and fits perfectly in the hand. The back cover to have access to the battery, microSD and SIM card I doubt this cover will ever unintentionally come off, it is very firm, it is even a little difficult to remove it.
The annoying thing here, it's really annoying and if I had noticed this before I wouldn't have bought it... The damn hole for charging the cell phone is on the side, and the worst part, on the left. If you're left-handed (like me), you'll struggle to use it when you've plugged it into the pc, it holds well in the palm of your hand, making it impossible to hold it with your left hand.
Audio: 6z3kv
Derisively weak speaker, “no phones, no way!” Already in a phone call, his volume I think is good and no one has ever complained about my audio either (both with headphones/mic and without it). However, this is a ROM task, I used a 0.1v beta version of a rom and the audio was bad, but it has now been fixed. And here I have a complaint, in the original rom and when it was 2.1, I would increase or decrease the volume of the music/radio and sometimes it took a few seconds for it to start responding. But this hasn't happened in the new roms :] At least I don't .
Hardware: 214o6n
Its sin, it's ok that HTC wanted to make a low end, but could have done a little more, a processor at least 600 and a more adequate resolution with its 3.2″ screen. The inconvenience of this, maybe you have it on your Galaxy 3, is having the keyboard occupying practically the entire screen and all the time having to remove the keyboard to see the content of the page/app. I'm using swype, sometimes alias, sometimes not, it always crashes, I'm typing fast on swype and it starts to choke, but I think it's because the app is still in beta. Plus, it's an unofficial version that someone ported to Wildfire. The official beta doesn't run here because it accuses small resolution.
Battery: 4q1j4i
Battery life with me… I charge it every 2 days. I leave 2G/Wifi off most of the day, I listen to about 3 hours/day of music/radio and speak little on my cell phone… with this, I can handle the 3 days. If I leave it on 2G all day, I have to charge it on the same day. And I've gone 3 days without needing to charge it, it was on a weekend, he was left at home :] It doesn't get very hot either, not even when it's charging 😀
Watch a video of the device below:

I liked the quality of the photos and the filters in it. The LED flash is excellent! and very strong, already broke high branches using as a flashlight when the energy went out. And as I said, I found the video a little weak, I thought there would be a 720p option on froyo =/
“Gyroscopter!” and other sensors: 25106w
Nothing special here, everything works accordingly. Sometimes the GPS is not found inside the house, but this is common in other cell phones. On the street, I never felt like I couldn't find the GPS. Hm… and I said that it doesn't get hot, when I turn on the “GPS + go Navigation”… puts! Catch fire. But I think it's because of the 3D of Navigation… despite the low FPS, it works fine 😀
Well, as for crashes… I don't know exactly what types of crashes you're talking about. But I have few problems like that, it's normal for him to be a few seconds without responding (especially when he's syncing). But nothing too serious… I never missed a call and honestly, I don't any crashes that pissed me off (except when I play games). By the way, I just ed one... one day I played a little game and it stopped the audio, when I left the game, the audio didn't come back (I didn't notice) and I turned on the alarm clock and went to sleep... The other day... I woke up late with the cell phone showing the buzzer shaking, but no audio, he had stopped the sound =/ But also, games are not for wildfire, and it was a game with “strong” graphics.
I tested this rom 2.3, Jacob is working on it. But it's still at the beginning, and as he says, it's not usual… The system is ultra slow, but at least I got the taste of seeing 2.3.
I was going to play mine for a Nexus S, but I was just going to exchange it because of the opportunity to have someone bring it for a nice price, otherwise I'll keep mine =D
Finally, although I'm always complaining about games, a lot of people over at XDA say that you can run many games on it, including Angry.
One problem, but it's with the HTC Sense… the time is bugged, always an hour ahead. “Forcing itself” can by the bug and get the normal time, but you have to give up the HTC Sense weather forecast.
