The Infinix NOTE10 Pro is the result of a partnership with Positivo Tecnologia and still has national production

New to the Brazilian smartphone market, the Infinix NOTE10 Pro arrives with a bold partnership with Impact, 2-year warranty, competent specifications and an attractive price for the mid-range segment. . What could be just the launch of yet another smartphone, certainly excites a lot for the differentials that the device offers, arouses interest in those who like a good product without having to pay a fortune and even intensifies competition, in a market generally more concentrated in a few brands .. 6r1t20

Infinity?! A brief context… 6z5c6z

Before actually starting this analysis, it is worth giving a background on the arrival of Infinix in Brazil. Positivo Tecnologia is aware of the market opportunity, especially in the intermediate segment and to tell this story, we interviewed Cristiano Freitas, Mobility Business Director at Positivo Tecnologia.

"We started structuring the contract about 1 year ago. And it made a lot of sense to have this partnership. Some people already know the Infinix brand because of its strong presence in countries in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. There Infinix products are highly rated for quality, performance and design. So we decided to bring her to Brazil; We are aware that this decision of ours has the potential to change the dynamics of the smartphone market in the country”

Cristiano Freitas, Mobility Business Director at Positivo

Infinix is the cellphone brand owned by Transsion Holdings, a global giant considered the sixth largest smartphone manufacturer in the world.

Positivo Tecnologia's main mission was to bring a product with powerful specifications and competitive prices, coherent with the reality of middle class consumers in Brazil. Cristiano says that Positivo Tecnologia used all its expertise to arrive at a price that would attract the public's attention with high competitiveness and a challenging market. At the same time, the partnership intends to help adapt the Infinix NOTE 10 Pro to the demands of the local public, including producing the Smartphone on Brazilian soil. Another detail that excites a lot is at the time of warranty:

“We did a lot of research with Brazilians […] and in the surveys one thing that caught a lot of people's attention was whether the smartphone came with a warranty. The warranty issue was so demanded that we decided to give a 2-year warranty for the first time. It's unheard of on the market!”

Cristiano Freitas, Mobility Business Director at Positivo

The Infinix NOTE10 Pro, considering its specifications, does very well, and Positivo Tecnologia seems to be reaping good results from this partnership to bring Infinix to Brazil. But beyond this mutual relationship between brands and the consumer, do things work well in practice? That's what we'll find out in the next few paragraphs.

Infinix NOTE10 Pro and the beautiful black case of the device (photo/Felipe Vidal)

Right away, as soon as we open the beautiful black box of the Infinix Note 10 Pro, we already have the first big positive point: its beautiful design. I usually don't care so much about the back of the models, as I always wear a cape, but this time the urge to go around showing it around was great.

The model won the recognition award at the 2021 edition of the IF Design Award, and this look is even difficult to describe. Basically the back splits in two halves. From the middle up, there's the quadruple camera module, completely symmetrical, while the background is smooth and super shiny. In the lower half there are dozens of tiny stripes that blend the light reflection of the environment. Besides, of course, the Infinix logo, which takes on different colors depending on the angle.

Her beauty was slightly overshadowed by the fingerprints. Yes, this smartphone is very susceptible to numerous fingerprints on the back. I even had to clean it several times for the photos. However, I don't consider this -particularly- as a negative point at all. That's because it's hard to see something using a cell phone without a protective case around. So at the end of the day, it's a nuisance that's there, I know it's going to be a nuisance at some point, but 90% of the time I won't call, because the cover overshadows it.

Connectivity 5h1q1v

The screen is great for watching video, making video calls, playing games. It has 6.95 inches, and on the sides we have the traditional volume buttons, power - which also houses the fingerprint sensor - and on the other side the drawer to insert SD and SIM cards 1 and 2. On the back there is a USB Type-C connection. for charging, reset, 3.5mm headphone jack and a speaker. On the screen there is still a small central space for the front camera.

Smartphone connections (photo/Felipe Vidal)

The device is very well built and has a beautiful finish – which to be honest I'm not sure about the material – but it seemed to be resistant and not fragile at all. Of course, don't try to throw your smartphone on the floor to test it, but it's something that has a good provenance, luckily. The device's box comes with a transparent protective cover, a film to protect the screen, the key to place the cards, a 33W charger, USB Type-C cable and 3.5mm wired headphones, in addition to the traditional manual of the device. .

The model operates with Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (dual band), and NFC technology.

Fabric 3c653a

6.95-inch screen (photo/Felipe Vidal)

I'm a big fan of AMOLED screens: the clear look, the vibrant colors, the intense black. It's very good. Then came the Infinix NOTE10 Pro with its liquid crystal LCD screen and IPS . The scenario was prone to strange – and very – to me this radical change. The big surprise was that the screen is very nice and convinced me a lot.

It wouldn't be natural to expect super beefy specs from a mid-range smartphone, but the Infinix NOTE 10 Pro's screen delivers more in practice than in theory.

Even though it is a large device, at 6.95 inches, it is not heavy. The 90Hz refresh rate makes everything much more fluid and greatly improves the experience. This quick swipe of the screen matches the internal specs – which we'll talk about shortly – and makes for great use.

In addition, the device has a sampling rate of 180 Hz from the touch sensor, that is, every second it is capable of detecting 180 touches on the screen. For those who enjoy playing games, as is my case, this helps a lot and guarantees competitive advantages because the cell phone detects my touches faster.

The display also has a Full HD+ resolution, as expected, and bets on TUV Rheiland certified technology, which reduces the emission of blue light to reduce eye strain. When playing games or watching movies, the experience is very satisfying and fulfills its purpose well. Incidentally, even lowering the screen to minimum brightness, I felt it was still very well visible. Something I really liked.

Battery 554u5p

Moving directly to the battery factor, another pleasure. The Infinix NOTE10 Pro has a battery life of 5000 mAh and is quite robust in that sense. You can easily stay just over a day with the model away from the power outlets.

This is curious, as the screen has a 90Hz refresh rate and a 180Hz sample rate, my main concern was how Infinix would merge this energy autonomy without giving up a good visual quality of the screen. The end result was a good combination.

33W charger and headphone (photo/Felipe Vidal)

To integrate this combo, Infinix sends a nice 33 charger and speed up charging. The proposal is really good and works well. The full charge, from about 5% to full charge ranged between 50 minutes and 1 hour, without anomalies or anything out of the ordinary. What is fantastic, phones with smaller battery can take a lot longer to charge.

Infinix, on its official website, claims that the Infinix Note 10 Pro is capable of staying up to 58 hours on call and up to 142 hours playing music. I certainly didn't consider these parameters in the tests, but in games it's possible to go a long time without loading and playing well. High point for gamers!

Cameras 353z5z

The Infinix NOTE10 Pro has a quad set on its back and it doesn't look bad. There's the 64 MP main camera, a ultrawide 8 MP that also doubles as a macro lens for shots close to 2,5 cm. The third and fourth cameras are Portrait Mode lenses and 2MP Black and White lenses respectively.

See the detailed specifications:

  • 64 MP wide camera with f/1.9 aperture
  • 120 MP 8º Macro and Ultrawide Camera with f/2.2 aperture
  • 2 MP depth camera with f/2.4 aperture
  • 2 MP B&W camera with f2.4 aperture
Camera module (photo/Felipe Vidal)

The 64 MP main camera is pretty secure and does a good job. The sensors and lenses used by Infinix do well. As this was the camera I used the most, I can confidently say that it will take pictures with a lot of focus in the foreground and very good during the day.

64 MP main camera (photo/Felipe Vidal)

Evening at night…I'm not a fan of cell phone Night Mode. The Infinix NOTE 10 Pro, like every good new smartphone, features compression and Artificial Intelligence technologies to enhance photos taken in low-light environments. In the case of this device, there are two well-defined points: more open photos, from more open environments, for example, come out relatively good. Photos that are too framed for closer objects and people do not have the same definition, as in other intermediate models.

Night mode and ultrawide camera (photo/Felipe Vidal)

The camera ultrawide, in turn, comes out fine, but creates a little more grain than usual, and can be annoying at night. But to be honest, this is a lens I rarely use, so on a day-to-day basis it didn't affect me that much. The macro is functional, the problem is to focus. Again, during the day the photos look much better.

Selfie mode (photo/Felipe Vidal)

The selfies are good and manage to capture well nuances of the face with the 16 MP front camera. It's worth a lot for social media pics. Portrait mode works fine though. Video recording also works well. Both the rear and the front can record up to 4K and 30 frames.

Camera Interface (photo/Felipe Vidal)

The camera interface is very good. Simple and well organized. There are specific parts for short videos of up to 15 seconds, very useful; AI camera mode, night mode, etc. It was very interesting to fiddle with the settings to take the pictures.

Stereo sound representation (Disclosure)

On the sound side, finally an intermediate cell phone with stereo sound – and what a sound! Whether watching movies, playing games, or just listening to your favorite podcasts out there, the quality is very good thanks to DTS sound processing, which enhances this little pair of speakers.

Performance and Settings 7254r

Settings in U-Z (print/Felipe Vidal)

Internally, the Infinix Note 10 Pro is that classic and mid-range smartphone. This resonates a lot when we look at the technical specifications of the device, and they are really quite powerful.

The processor is the Mediatek Helo G95, developed in 12 nm lithography, with 2 Cortex A76 cores and 6 Cortex A55 cores, generating a hybrid octa-core, as the costume says, and the accompanying GPU is the Mali G76 MC4. In addition, we have an incredible 8 GB of RAM and options of 128 or 256 GB of storage.

That said, let's say it right away: the U + 8GB RAM combination turns the Infinix NOTE10 Pro into a very powerful smartphone for its price. You can be sure that there will be no crashes, stutters or any kind of crash, even if you stack hundreds of apps at once. That was a nice hit of the device.

By the way, speaking of processor, Infinix sells this smartphone, including as a gamer device. I decided to take the test and it really does very well. Of course, we are talking about a model below R$ 1.700, so there is no way to charge the most fluid performance in the world.

Test in Asphalt 9 Legends did very well (photo/Felipe Vidal)

In games we tested PUGB Mobile, which ran very well, as well as the beautiful Asphalt 9 Legends, which gave a great show. Sky and Free Fire also run satisfactorily on the device, but Call of Duty: Mobile is already starting to stutter, but it still runs well.

In the synthetic tests we used 3D Mark's Sling Shot, a benchmark based on OpenGL ES 3.0 for smartphones that tests the GPU and U capacity obtaining 3.512 points. The other tests were done with PC Mark, using Storage 2.0, to measure the device's storage performance, making 22.246; and Work 3.0, which assesses everyday activities, such as web browsing, research, viewing graphs, etc., scoring 10.163 points.

Interface 3i6z6t

Finally, we come to talk about the Infinix NOTE10 Pro interface. The device runs the XOS 7.6 operating system based on Android 11. To be honest, the interface doesn't change that much compared to other Android devices, but there is one or another difference. So don't be worried.

When going through the icons on the slide-out task bar, what catches my attention the most is the choice of green color, characteristic of the brand, and the large size of the icons and fonts. Very good to see! This operating system seems very didactic to me for this reason. It's simple, no frills and it does its job. (https://brownshvac.net/)

Game optimization mode (print/Felipe Vidal)

Furthermore, it has a Gamer Mode, called Game Zone. There it is possible to configure the games and optimize these software to run better on the Infinix NOTE10 Pro. The Dar-Link Engine feature allows you to block messages and calls when playing, and provides options such as memory acceleration, GPU and U reinforcement for games.

Infinix NOTE10 Pro bets on great value for money (photo/Felipe Vidal)

Is it worth investing in the Infinix NOTE10 Pro, the newcomer to the mid-rangers in our market? The answer is an unquestionable yes.

Starting with the price, the 10GB Infinix NOTE128 Pro costs BRL 1.499 at Casas Bahia, while your vA starts with price, the 10GB Infinix NOTE128 Pro costs R$1.499 while its 256 GB version goes for R$1.699. Both are on sale at Ponto, Extra and Casas Bahia stores, and you can also find them at Vivo stores and on the brand's official website in Brazil, at www.meuinfinix.com.br. The cost-benefit ratio and the 2-year factory warranty are favorable factors to consider it a good investment.

The Infinix NOTE10 Pro is definitely a good mid-range phone to invest in, and it shouldn't disappoint. The brand arrives with both feet on the ground with this partnership with Positivo Tecnologia and starts with a beautiful debut product, which, in all my honesty, would easily be my main cell phone due to all the features.

  1. I wanted to know if you have any authorized nu Brasil because I broke the rear camera lens of my infinix note 10 pro and I am not finding where to buy the rear camera lens of the infinix note 10 pro if you know please leave the

  2. I was an enthusiast of Positivo cell phones and the brands launched by that company, and when they launched the Quantum brand, I bought the You-E model, d as a device with great configurations and an attractive price. But in fact, the cell phone had several problems: the system was full of bugs (it didn't ring when someone called me, it crashed…), the speakerphone was terrible, the touch was very bad (it didn't respond properly to touches), the charger port broke right away , the battery soon swelled that I didn't even close the back cover anymore!! Detail: the battery was VERY expensive and hard to find (Not even on the official Quantum website)!! In fact, they had NOTHING of parts or accessories just for the most expensive model of the brand!! Result: I got a NEW BUT NON-SAFE cell phone!! And do you know what happened to that Quantum?? DISAPPEARED FROM THE MAP, disappeared, leaving IN HAND the customers who bought their half-bowl products!! No parts and no technical assistance!! Now Positivo is back, promoting and manufacturing the Infinix brand, with the same “cell phone with great value for money” marketing. I would very much like to believe that, and I would even buy it, but after the experience I've had with them, I won't risk it again. I see that to lower the price, they use low quality materials (hardware) and design. When it's new it “looks” great. But… Neither the design, nor the price, nor the two-year warranty attract me anymore. Positive, never again!!! Unfortunately.
