Another great announcement from Lenovo this week of CES 2021 it was the update of a product dear to the gamer audience. The previous generation of legion slim owned the thinnest piece on the market, equipped with a GeForce GTX GPU. Now Lenovo comes with an even thinner solution without compromising on performance: the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i, which is just 15,9 mm in the thinnest version, weighing in at 1,9 kg. 2xi33
The feat was only possible because the carcass uses a mixture of magnesium and aluminum in its composition. Lenovo Legion Slim 7i is designed with the thermal protection systems Lenovo Legion Coldfront 4.0, which bring an air flow capable of better managing the heat and noise generated by the device.
It also has multiple sensors placed on the U, graphics card, rear and side fans, SSD and palm rest. Thus, there is prediction of the thermal curve of your system, helping to avoid bottlenecks and optimizing performance. To further dissipate the heat, the airflow has been increased (compared to the previous generation) thanks to larger copper thermal diffs. On the lid we find several perforations – and even under the keyboard, to keep the laptop cooler.
The latest dedicated graphics cards in the range NVIDIA GeForce RTX (with Ray Tracing and Tensor Cores) will enable a huge leap in Artificial Intelligence capabilities and graphics performance, keeping you productive throughout the day with Windows 10. So you can work, study and create while enjoying the 15.6 ”screen with refresh rate of 60Hz. There are also options with refresh rates of up to 165Hz on the screen WVA Full HD (1920x1080), which is ed HDR Dolby Vision.
Designed for people who love to play games wherever they are, the gaming notebook Lenovo Legion Slim 7i It is made of very fine aluminium: an extremely light magnesium and aluminum alloy, which does not affect its durability. The notebook is ultra-thin, with narrow edges and a sleek new design lid, weighs just 1,9 kg and its trackpad is a single piece of glass. The notebook also has a battery with ample capacity of 71WHr and for Rapid Charge Express fast charging.

Lenovo Legion Slim 7i features new AI-based software from Lenovo Vantage Legion Edge. Gamers with Legion devices are able to push the frame rate per second to the limit and reduce in-game lag. Part of Lenovo QControl, the new auto-optimization setting is just one of the modes capable of custom-tuning gaming performance.
To explain how this works: the AI is able to kick in and automatically detect all games on the deck, comparing them to the pre-loaded set of 16 AAA titles (or triple-A, high-end). You then activate the necessary settings to ensure the highest frame rate per second for that specific game, without impacting your experience.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7i also features Harman speakers, optimized with Nahimic Audio. In a special design for gamers, Nahimic contains “immersive resources” such as Night Mode (intelligent volume reduction) and Sound Tracker (audio monitor) that keep you visually alerted to the direction of a sound during gameplay.
Lenovo Vantage, in turn, is responsible for accelerating speed for s of the Lenovo Legion line in the latest generation (including the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i), allowing the to quickly optimize settings and customize their experience to get back in the game with more agility. through the new progressive caching for web applications, Vantage loads in a few seconds, no matter where you are.
With a legacy of redefining gaming experiences (and being considered the world's lightest RTX gaming notebook), the new Lenovo Legion Slim 7i aims to sur itself again with an even thinner profile in 2021 and become the thinnest and lightweight gaming notebook in the history of Lenovo Legion.

Finally, it is worth ing that the recently launched Vantage Smart Performance Services is available on all Lenovo Legion devices. This new manufacturer self-diagnostic service has the ability to reduce notebook downtime by scanning, detecting and removing spyware, malware and adware. It even fixes network and access issues, automatically tunes the notebook and results in better internet connectivity.
