When the LG unveil its new smartphone, the LG G8 ThinQ (the successor to the G7) the design will likely not come as a surprise to the public. That's because the famous Evan Blass (@ Evleaks) just unveiled clear images that show the device from all angles, weeks ahead of its likely launch at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona later this month. 25y1l

While LG hasn't confirmed that this is what the new smartphone will look like, the company has technically already announced it - last week, LG confirmed that it would sell a handset called LG G8 ThinQ, complete with a 3D depth camera so you can unlock the device with your face.
That likely explains the unusual three-lens front camera module you can see in the images above – and why it still has a notch in the new era of hole-punch monitors that don't take up as much space.
Blass has a reliable history of leaking phone photos, but what gives these leaks even more credibility is that they line up with two others, including those shared by @onleaks e @91mobiles last month – who, unlike Blass, are known for producing their own images based on leaked schematics for the phones.
In season, Ken Hong, head of global communications at LG Electronics, tweeted that the Onleaks images were “just a speculative rendering”, which is technically true. But unless LG is planting fakes, it seems the speculation might have been pretty clear about the G8.
And that doesn't hurt LG, considering it needs to increase competitiveness to compete with the extensive product lineup. Galaxy S10 da Samsung, which should be announced on February 20.
Other LG G8 rumors also include that the G8's screen may vibrate to produce sound. There is also a rumor that LG may launch a new secondary smartphone, the LG V50, alongside the G8 next month.
