The new design can be compared with the “Nespresso” coffee machines for its easy handling, portability and capsule beverage concept. We talked a bit with LG's Executive Marketing Manager, Barbara Toscano who explained to us a bit how the novelty will work.

The basis of beer production by LG HomeBrew are malt, water and pre-brewed capsules that will have different beer styles such as: American IPA, American Pale Ale (APA) and English Stout. Both malt and capsules will be marketed by LG in partnership with a company not yet revealed by the company.
A LG Homebrew has a capacity for up to 5 liters of beer and has the functionality “self-cleaning”, which cleans automatically after each use. And like all LG white goods, the machine comes with "reverse" which makes an energy regulation, thus offering more energy savings to the consumer.
