With hand that brings comfort to those who work for several hours, the model has a three-year battery and can be found for less than R$500

Comfort when typing is essential for anyone who works for hours in front of a computer, so you definitely need to choose a model that doesn't affect your productivity. For a week we tested the Logitech Wake Keys, which arrives in Brazil with the concept of being an ergonomic keyboard with palm . But is this comfort worth the more than R$400 for the model? See our usage experience now. w4g55

With official weight of 750 grams e width 37,6 cm, I want to comment that this model can be considered compact, considering that there are models from Logitech which are very wide. I have a rather large desk and I usually use my laptop. When placing the Logitech Wave Keys on top of my notebook, it covered the entire keyboard, so the feeling of size was practically the same.

But, compared to traditional models, the keys are very close to each other. My notebook keyboard has a certain amount of space that makes typing easier. People who, like me, have large hands, may end up accidentally bumping into a letter. It took a while, but I managed to adapt to the size of the keys being slightly different from those I use on a daily basis.

O Logitech Wave Keys It has a padded palm rest, which helps keep your wrists elevated on soft . It's a that seems simple at first glance, but makes a total difference in everyday use and also saves you from purchasing an accessory (and having to spend more).

What I really liked is that it has a wavy shape for positioning the keys which, with the padded , makes typing very comfortable. Taking into that the letters we use most on a daily basis are in the highest part, the use was very smooth and you almost don't notice the difference due to the comfort provided.

It's important to that this is not a gaming model, so we don't have RGB lighting present here. The keyboard of Logitech It also doesn't have a white light for use at night, which saves battery life, but forces you to turn on the light in the place where you're working, depending on the natural lighting.

This keyboard follows the format ABNT 2, then you will have to use some shortcuts to use some special characters like question mark and slash. This is the same type of keyboard that is present on my notebook, so I had no adaptation problems. The numeric keypad adds convenience in everyday life, especially for those who work with numbers and spreadsheets.

There is only one curious difference: despite being located in the location we know, the key to activate the Start menu Windows does not have the logo Microsoft, but it can be activated in the same way. Bearing in mind that this model is not only aimed at computers with Windows, it kind of makes sense, but it's worth saying that usage was not affected.

My only comment is that, due to the Logitech Wave Keys To be more compact, media control needed to be allocated to the function keys, so you'll have to do it with both hands.

The screenshot functionality can also only be activated via this method, so if you're used to having a dedicated key just for that (like me), you'll have to adapt.

O Logitech Wave Keys was launched in Brazil in two colors: black and white. I particularly like darker products because they are easier to clean, but the white variant we received from Logitech is very pretty.

connections and performance 5j4j13

Logi Bolt connector is present, but Bluetooth antenna works smoothly (Photo: Victor Pacheco/Showmetech)

There are two ways to connect the Logitech ergonomic keyboard to a device: via Bluetooth antenna or via connector Logi bolt (with USB-A connection) shipped in the box. Both work very well on a daily basis and do not show connection errors during testing. I preferred to use the Bluetooth antenna present in the model and leave the connector stored in the box, but this is nice to have if you have several inputs available on your computer.

One thing I really liked is that the model presents the EasySwitch, one of Logitech's trademarks. With this, you can connect up to three different devices and switch between them with a single click. If you are a professional who works with several devices during the day, you will only need to press one button. The gain in practicality is immediate.

Day-to-day use was very assertive: as soon as I turned on the notebook to work, the keyboard automatically connected to my computer and both were ready to work and meet the demands of the computer. showmetech.

The keyboard that is part of the line Ergo Series It has a pair of AAA batteries sent in the box which, according to the manufacturer, promises to last for 36 months. It would be cool if the keyboard was also recharged via a UBS-A or USB-C connection to avoid disposing of these batteries in nature.

I used the model for seven days and, during this time, the charge remained at 100%. I used the device to work for 8 hours a day, from 09am to 18pm from Monday to Friday, and I conclude: battery is a factor that you won't have to worry about with this model.

Software complements the experience of using an ergonomic keyboard (Screenshot: Victor Pacheco/Showmetech)

I would say that this keyboard is very simple and you wouldn't need an app for it to work, but it's worth talking about Logitech options+. Available to Windows ou MacOS, it allows you to customize the keys for some quick actions. This is called Smart Actions.

Shortcuts can be ed on up to 13 keys (Screenshot: Victor Pacheco/Showmetech)

In practice, you can program some action to occur when a button is pressed. I use Chrome a lot in my daily life, so I configured the Home key, located above the numeric keypad, to open the application.

Smart Actions make everyday life more agile (Screenshot: Victor Pacheco/Showmetech)

The company allows you to up to thirteen Smart Actions to have a more productive day-to-day life and, if you change keyboards in the future, the same commands can be imported to the new device when logging in. I was able to use the commands I ed for the comparison of MX Keys S vs. MX Keys Mini, also manufactured by Logitech.

I reach the end of this review with the thought that the Logitech fulfilled the promise of developing an ergonomic keyboard that really makes a difference in people's daily lives. Its use is very comfortable and the waveform of the keys is ideal for those who work on the computer all day. The padded for your hands to rest while we work is the icing on the cake.

The possibility of connecting the keyboard to up to 3 devices at the same time is also quite incredible, as you eliminate the possibility of using many keyboards during the day. The application Options+ complements the use and allows the registration of up to 13 quick commands, providing that agility in everyday life.

Not everything is perfect: the narrow space between the keys can be a slight inconvenience for those with larger hands. Furthermore, I missed using the model at night with lighting, and a rechargeable battery wouldn't be bad at all — even though the batteries last up to three years.

It is an ideal model for those who do not have a large desk and value comfort. O Logitech Wave Keys can be purchased for BRL 449,10 at Magazine Luiza if payment is made via Pix.

Keyboard has low energy use and an ergonomic shape that can provide comfort in everyday life. Padded is the icing on the cake for those who need to work for a whole day. Adaptation may be necessary for those with large hands, but this should happen within a few hours.
