Polly Pocket 563850
Among the titles already mentioned in the media by Mattel Films, directors and actors, another popular doll that will soon come to life in a movie live action will be Polly Pocket. The film is expected to be directed by Lena Dunham (formerlyGirls) and will feature actress Lily Collins (emily in paris) in the lead role.
Polly Pocket was responsible for countless hours of childhood escapism for me – Polly gave me a little world of magic and autonomy to narrate, so it's quite poetic to approach those same ideas now as a director collaborating with the brilliant Lily Collins, Robbie Brenner, Mattel and MGM. I'm thrilled to bring out both my love for this historic property and my deeply held belief that young women need fun, intelligent films that speak to them without condescension.

barney the dinosaur 716t26

Another project already announced was the movie about the friendly purple dinosaur, Barney, in the style of films produced by the independent production company A24, mostly known for its horror films. However, according to producer Kevin McKeon, the feature will follow a more surrealist bias and be aimed at an adult audience and will feature Daniel Kaluuya (Run!) as the main character.
There is no further information on the script or even if Kaluuya will be in the famous fantasy that was part of so many people's childhood, only that it will be "heartbreaking".
We're looking forward to exploring this compelling modern hero and seeing if his 'I love you, you love me' message can stand the test of time.
