And finally the miniseries Moon Knight ended up in Disney + this week. As you already know, I got a little more carried away with the last two episodes, but in the whole context of the series, I thought that if it weren't for the Oscar Isaac, she would be totally forgettable. 5f4c56
That said, what we got at the end wasn't much different from what the last episode already left in its wake. After the whole process of self-knowledge that Marc had in his near death, he finally comes to with Steven and back for the final clash against Arthur Harrow.
We finally had Moon Knight 2g181b

In its final episode, titled "Gods and Monsters", we're placed right where the last chapter ended, but now with more context about where each character has gone. Layla try to go after Arthur alone, but is soon confronted by Tueris, the Hippopotamus goddess, who sends Marc's message for her to release Khonshū.
This happens while the events of the last episode are also happening, which brings us to the scene of Marc e Steven meeting again and understanding each other. At one point in the episode, Layla manages to free Khonshū, who tries to be her new avatar. She denies it and asks him to go back to Marc.
with the return of Marc, finally we have in season finale o Moon Knight that we've been waiting for. Now understanding both personalities and the series managed to deliver one of the coolest scenes merging the two characters in very good action scenes.
In addition, we had a bonus with Layla who accepted to be the avatar of tuéris and gained powers in this episode, becoming a new heroine who honestly turned out great and I'd really like to see more of her in the future. I'll talk more in the references section and easter eggs.
A closure just ok 4v4c60

Moon Knight could easily be one of the most interesting productions in the MCU, but unfortunately it wasn't this time. From the beginning, the highlight was the incredible performance of Oscar Isaac and for that he even deserves a nomination — and I believe he will win.
The problem is that, in everything else, the series is completely lost, both in tone and in where it fits into this universe of heroes. Layla is a character that I liked a lot too, but having Ethan Hawke in a series and him being the weakest point is a big problem. His character looked so good in the first episode and in the end it just proved to be a real pain in the ass.
Verdict 62424m

As you may have noticed, I put at the beginning of the text that Moon Knight it's a miniseries. That's because she wrapped up in that sixth episode and doesn't come back for a second season.
That said, I really hope they know how to take advantage of the character in future MCU productions, after all, as much as the body of work was not the best it could be, it fulfilled its purpose of giving rise to the character well.
O Moon Knight is ready to be inserted into any production that the Marvel Studios want to put it now, without having to explain details. For me, this isn't the best Marvel series, but it's definitely worth watching for the talent of Oscar Isaac alone. To close, this last episode featured a post-credit scene that I'll leave for more on the easter eggs because it's a spoiler, but I say here: COWARDS.
Easter eggs and references 6e1i4t
In the last episode of the miniseries of Moon Knight we've had some really interesting references that may or may not deliver things from the future of the MCU. Be warned here, as always, that these references rely on SPOILERS, so if you haven't seen the final episode, come back here only later.
Marc and Steven's hug is just like a scene from the comics 1di52

In one of the best moments of the last episode, we have the reunion of Marc and Steven. In this scene, the two personalities embrace and finally understand each other, which makes them achieve victory in the end. A similar moment happened in the comics in moon knight #9, when Jeff lemire was in charge of the character.
Layla becomes the “Scarlet Scarab” of the MCU 85810

In episode 4 I commented on one of the easter eggs that Layla had a connection with a character named scarlet beetle and, in this episode, we had that confirmation. By accepting to be the avatar of tuéris, Layla has gained powers and an armor that allows her to be as strong as Moon Knight.
The connection with the Scarlet Scarab comes from the hippopotamus goddess, who says she found her father in the afterlife, and says that he would be very happy with her becoming a superhero. Also, we have another moment where Layla saves a little girl and she asks if Layla is the hero of Egypt and she says yes.
From the ending we've had so far in the series, it's hard to say if we'll get anything like this, but in the comics, Randall Spector, growing up, becomes the supervillain Shadowknight. The character becomes one of Moon Knight's main villains and, knowing Marvel, some adaptation of this story should happen in the future.
The end of the series is the same as the beginning 146b1m

After all the show's final conflict, Marc and Steven wake up in their London apartment to the music A Man Without Love de Engelbert humperdinck playing in the background, in exactly the same way as we saw at the beginning of the series.
In addition, the protagonist is wearing the same pajamas as premiere and they still wear that ankle chain, which at this point could be Marc and Steven's method of defense against Jake.
These similarities between the first and last episodes give the idea of a closed loop, but now with Marc and Steven as friends and getting along with each other.
Kang the Conqueror “appears” in the latest episode 201az

In past episodes, we've had some QR codes that, when reading them, took us to scenes from the comics of the Moon Knight. In this last QR Code, we are still taken to an edition of the hero, the Moon Knight Annual #1, a character comic where there was an epic battle between him and, amazingly, Kang the Conqueror.
If you already watched Loki, knows that the character has already appeared in the MCU, but will return for real in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantunmania. Could this QR Code indicate the presence of Moon Knight in the film? We just have to wait.
Jake Lockley finally showed up 2g2i13

We talked a lot about Marc's third personality in the other episodes and she finally showed up. However, she came practically as a easter egg, since it's a post-credit scene.
Despite this, she is very good and shows that Jake is Marc's most bloodthirsty personality and the perfect avatar for Khonshu. In addition to his look being just like the comics, the scene is a beautiful cue for the character.
Khonshu in a suit comes from the comics s6y3z

In the scene where we have Jake Lockley's appearance, when Arthur is placed in the limousine, we come face to face with Khonshu, but now wearing a very elegant white suit, after all he needs to brag about his new avatar, Jake.
This “handsome” Khonshu references again the comics of the Moon Knight by Jeff Lemire, where the Egyptian god wears a very similar suit.
Jake in a limousine? vi5a

In the comics, Marc's rich personality is Steven, but from what we've seen so far, in the MCU that's not true. However, after the final scene with Jake Lockley arriving with a limousine to get Arthur out of the hospital, we can create the thesis that he would be the rich guy in this universe.
