British design agency Morrama developed a different concept study to Google have already done with pushes or access limiting apps. 6y4t5l
The idea was to make a model that was not only technologically advanced, but that considered solutions to real and current problems in the use of devices with balance and awareness.

“This study proposes smartphones that bring more conscious decisions to the experience. Ultimately, we have a responsibility as designers to consider the well-being of consumers as a fundamental part of product development.”
Jo Barnard, founder of Morrama, told Dezeen

One of the features is called “Helping Hand”. With it, you can switch the use of the cell phone to a more “smart” mode, reducing what you see on the main screen as much as possible – just turn the cell phone upside down and then you will only see the essentials. The “traditional” mode in which all apps appear will reappear when the phone is in the conventional position.
With this “aware” mode, you eliminate viewing most apps and limit your use of the smartphone to “tools” (weather forecast, calendar, clock, calculator…), even allowing you to make calls and take pictures.

The second feature, called “A Quick Escape”, allows the screen to erase with a slight tilt, leaving you on a flat surface. To check notifications, just tilt it up. What seemed to be difficult to manage with the excess of information and notifications you receive, is solved with this feature. As the back of the phone is asymmetrical, its resting position will not show any notification.

The third concept, “Present in the Moment”, is based on a very common behavior of putting your phone screen down when you don't want to see notifications.
For this, the company proposes a screen that encourages people to leave the device for longer in this position with a second monitor on the back that shows the clock and with that the is not distracted by notifications, failing to enjoy moments of socialization, whether with a partner, family or friends.

A voice assistant button allows the to have quick access to some information or functionality, dispensing with direct access to the screen. According to the company, these concepts follow a recent trend of more laid-back phones and based on simpler and more intuitive behavior and needs, mainly considering their well-being and convenience.
