Billionaires (physical) fight 2j3o2k

Two tech personalities are on the verge of abandoning their business rivalry and literally going head-to-head. We are talking about billionaires Elon Musk quality Mark Zuckerberg. Check out this joke that could become a potential fight:

Recently, the CEO of Tesla and current owner of Twitter, Elon Musk, posted a tweet stating that he would be “ready for a fight in the ring” with Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta. In response, Zuckerberg posted a screenshot of that tweet on his Instagram Story with the caption: “send me location".

Alex Heath, editor of the website The Verge, made a tweet mentioning Zuckerberg's response on Instagram and shortly afterwards had his tweet answered by Musk with the phrase “vegas octagon", referring to the Las Vegas arena that hosts the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Better known as UFC.

Musk even made another tweet saying he has “this great move he calls 'The Whale', where he just lays on top of the opponent and does nothing”. Meanwhile Meta was ed to mention the case and a spokesperson only says that Zuckerberg's Story speaks for itself.

It is very interesting to realize that despite the content of this whole story, no one can say if it is a joke or if in fact the billionaires want to punch out. Both got involved with the plot, but always using your own social networks. Several betting sites have already stated that Mark Zuckerberg is more likely to win a body fight. Will this fight happen off the grid?

Simulation of Mars on Earth 2m6h2f

A team of four aspiring astronauts was quoted to spend 12 months at a base in Johnson Space Center, located in Houston, Texas. This base simulates conditions on Mars and the team should help the American company to better understand how the red planet works for future expeditions.

The crew consisted of Ross Brockwell, flight engineer (left); Kelly Haston, commander (middle); and Nathan Jones, medical officer (right). Science Officer Anca Selariu did not appear on the record. Image: Collect Space

Call of Crew Health and Performance Exploration Analog, or also by the acronym PLATE, the team consists of Kelly Haston, Ross Brockwell, Nathan Jones and Anca Selariu. More specifically, they will help to NASA to better design and plan future human missions on the Martian surface.

The first mission began on June 25, 2023, when the four volunteers ed the so-called “Mars Dune Alpha“, with 158 square meters. For the duration of the mission, which runs until July 7, 2024, they will remain inside this 3D-printed structure, with the exception of occasional walks in an enclosed area of Mars called the "sandbox", which is 111 meters. squares.

The crew was selected based on the idea of being “like astronauts”. Requirements included having a degree in one of the fields STEM (i.e. in the field of science, technology, engineering or mathematics) along with work experience in any of these fields, piloting experience or military training. In addition, they had to the same physical and psychological tests applied to astronaut candidates, in order to guarantee that they were fit for the program.

A security control will always be available, however, messages sent from Mars Dune Alpha will take 22 minutes to be received, the same amount of time it would take for a call from Mars to reach Earth. The crew will feed on freeze-dried, thermo-stabilized and ready-to-eat food stored on shelves. Despite simulating conditions on Mars, the site's gravity is still Earth's.

First Vision Pro apps 6v3k21

Apple made the first visionOS Developer Beta and visionOS SDK, allowing developers to experiment with the Vision Pro's operating system and create third-party applications for the device. Based on experience with Apple devices over the years, developers are almost certain to come up with innovative ideas that will make the VisionPro an amazing platform.

Apple has announced that the Vision Pro will be able to run some applications from the iPadOS, which means that the device will have a wide catalog of apps available from launch, but apparently the developers are really excited to explore the visionOS SDK. Some of them were able to quickly adapt their existing versions of applications to work on Vision Pro in just a few hours.

Among some of the applications available for the Vision Pro are the flighty, which allows you to track flights on iPhone and iPad; Mercury, an app that helps s visualize weather-related data; Adalbert, an app created in 2010 to help with decision-making and now returning to Vision Pro; It is ComicReader, capable of displaying comic books, but now on a larger and more comfortable screen.

These are just a few examples of the first apps for visionOS that developers are creating or adapting. Surely soon we will see even more existing application concepts for iPhone e iPad converted to Vision Pro. Third-party apps for Vision Pro seem to be off to a great start, and we'll continue to follow that trajectory to see where the new feature can go!
