The new release wins the “seal” of the brand 'ThinQ', which was announced by LG at CES 2018 as part of its efforts in relation to the development of technologies with artificial intelligence.
The South Korean giant is betting on a simple update to the V30 hardware and also brings 2 versions, the V30S and V30S+, matching Samsung, Google and Apple, which already adopt this practice. But in the case of LG what changes is not the size of the screen, but only the size of the internal storage. The only point that was strange was the use of a processor of the last generation and not the most recent and powerful Snapdragon 845.
On the back we have two cameras again, one with 16 MP and f/1.6 aperture and the other with 13 MP, f/1.9 aperture and wide-angle lens. They will also make extensive use of the artificial intelligence capabilities that we will see below. Completing the technical specifications, we have a 3300 mAh battery, factory installed Android 8.0 Oreo and IP68 certification, that is, it is resistant to water and dust. A LG uses a new system based on a Berlin photography company called EyeEm, which recently won the Google and Microsoft benchmark contest. A LG unfortunately did not disclose prices and much less date of availability of the device worldwide. Some websites reported that the LG V30S ThinQ arrives in the Korean market in March, but there is no forecast of arrival in the North American market. However, it is speculated that it will exceed US$ 900,00; a very steep price, as it could not be otherwise.
