O CES (Consumer Electronics Show) may be the most famous, but that doesn't make it MWC (Mobile World Congress) should be ignored. Engineers, entrepreneurs and manufacturers can say that, the event has enormous importance for the industry. O showmetech knows this, and will be there to cover the day 2 to March 5, 2015.
The event is best known as the “mobile show for the industry” and, in many ways, you can say just that. The fair is an event aimed at suppliers and manufacturers in the technology sectors. However, “mobile” can also mean much more these days, and the conference has appropriately broadened its focus in recent years.
In part, this is because mobile devices are no longer limited to cell phones, but to virtually any device that communicates via the internet and other means.
Communication protocols are also discussed in the MWC, an example of this is the growing number of devices enabled for wireless communication, either for processing and storing localized data, or sharing and managing information with the “cloud” – a trend that will grow in the future.
Another factor that should take care of the fair is the growth of Chinese companies in the global telephone market. Companies like Huawei, Lenovo and Xiaomi are increasingly attracting consumers by distributing their devices to an ever-increasing audience. This fact is received with preference by local suppliers.
The fair should also concentrate several novelties in the IoT, or "internet of things“, which is emerging as a great source of new products and possibilities with all sorts of smart devices, clothing and utensils.
As expected, we will also see several companies taking advantage of the event to launch their latest products to the world market. LG, Sony already count rumors about possible presentations.
O showmetech was invited to the event and is already packing his bags to embark on this adventure. Through it we will share with you all the news exposed at the event. Don't forget to check out our international coverage on our website!
