The model should be presented at MWC 2024 and will have a touch-sensitive keyboard, as well as a special pen for drawing on the screen

Scheduled to take place between the 26th and 29th of February, the MWC 2024 (Mobile World Congress) will be the stage for several innovations that will soon hit the technology market. One of them will be the presentation of the concept of a notebook with a transparent screen from Lenovo, which should be focused on those who need to see people or situations that would usually require the lid to be lowered. One of the possible purposes of a notebook with a transparent screen is its use in public service roles, such as assistants and receptionists. Imagine that it will no longer be necessary to lower the lid of your notebook or move away from the screen while checking the information to allow a visitor to enter.

The big concern, however, is privacy: from the leaked photos, it is not possible to know whether whoever is behind the screen on the notebook with a transparent screen will see what is in front. The company may invest in a feature that hides the content on the back, but we will only know that at the end of the month.

Computers with transparent screens are a concept that never actually reached the general market, and, to give you an idea of how long this has been talked about, the Samsung presented a model with this technology during his time at CES 2014.

But it looks like in 2024, companies are ready to put devices like these on the market. A , the Korean company's main competitor, also presented the OLED T, which should hit the market in 2024.

Processor chosen must be Intel Core Ultra (Photo: Reproduction/Windows Report)

More technical details were not specified by the leaker Evan Blass, but, according to the latest market releases, it is expected that one of the Intel Core Ultra processors, focused on AI, be chosen to run the notebook operating system with a transparent screen.

The future notebook of Lenovo should also run Windows 11 factory and have at least 8 GB of RAM, in addition to SSD storage with at least 256 GB. The design follows the basics of other models from the company and looks very similar to other notebooks with two screens, such as the Zenbook Pro Duo da ASUS.

The model must also have touchscreen and the leaked photos show a pen that must be used for drawing and g documents. The keyboard would be virtual instead of physical, but it is not yet known whether the Lenovo prepares an accessory to be connected to the device.

Price and date of arrival on the market have not yet been revealed (Photo: Reproduction/Windows Report)

With a model practically ready to hit the market, it is expected that the Lenovo put your notebook with a transparent screen on sale in 2024, but this should be information to be confirmed only during the company's time in MWC 2024.

At the same time, it is worth lowering expectations, as the Chinese company has a habit of showing various concepts and never offering them for sale. An example is the notebook that features a rollable screen that increases from 12,7 inches to 15,3 inches, presented in 2023. Since then, we haven't heard anything about the device (and apparently, we won't).
