finally the first Apple Store was opened in Brazil. The store is located in the Village Mall, in Rio de Janeiro. More than 1.700 people faced a long line since dawn to see the space.

Apple brand fans were given snacks and drinks before entering the store. THE Apple Store carioca has two environments and is also the first in Latin America.

The store follows the company's “pavillion” concept with just one floor and a long curved facade. There are two spaces: the front is dedicated to product experimentation, while the back of the store concentrates the sale of accessories and the provision of services.

Brazil is the fourteenth country to receive an official physical store from the company. In total, there are 423 Apple Stores.

Macs, iPads, iPhones and iPods are sold in the space for testing. The store also has the Genius Bar, where branded product experts offer advice, setup instructions, service and repairs.

To avoid a long wait in these first days, it is possible to schedule an appointment to chat with Genius Consultants.
