Last week, the partnership between the sound equipment manufacturer Pioneer and Google for implantation of Android Auto, system version specially adapted for use in automobiles.
Now, any consumer will be able to purchase sound equipment for their vehicle that already comes with the little green robot system on-board side-by-side with the Apple , Car Play. the line NEX da Pioneer will allow even old and low-cost vehicles to enjoy one of the most modern vehicle interaction platforms. There are currently 3 models available with this type of : AVIC-8100NEX, AVIC-7100NEX e AVH-4100NEX, all with 7-inch touch-sensitive screens and a microphone, which allows for voice-command interaction and calls.
Although the value needed to purchase such equipment is much lower than the investment in a new vehicle, it does not mean that it is cheap. In the United States, models range in price between $700 and $1.400. By American standards it's not a very pleasant value and, with the dollar above 3 reais, it's a very salty value for Brazilians too.
A Pioneer is not the only manufacturer to announce hybrid products – with Android Auto and Apple Car Play – but, so far, it was the first to make the products available for commercialization. We are waiting for the official arrival of the equipment in Brazil, but I hope they manage to make prices more pleasant here.
