For this review, we chose the squarest frame in light blue, but there are more than 150 options that can be purchased in stores or Meta's official website. The best of all is that there is a platform called Remix, allowing you to customize smart glasses that only you will have.

Talking about the model: due to having batteries and speakers, it is of course a little heavier than traditional glasses, but during everyday use, you get used to it within a few hours. The official weight is 46 grams, but it can reach up to 50 grams, depending on the frame.

During the two weeks that I used the model, it felt like actually wearing traditional glasses: many people didn't even realize that it had cameras, which can help when recording discreetly. There is a small flash that blinks when you take a photo and also starts recording videos. But this is often not even noticed.

I really liked the way it self-configures as soon as it is placed on your face: the connection with the smartphone happens automatically and if you are listening to music and take off your glasses, it will be automatically paused, playing again when you put it back on. This can be disabled in the app, but I particularly liked the usage detector.

There is a sensor that works as a media control: drag forward to increase the song, drag back to decrease it and double-tap to move to the next song. There is no way to go back to the previous track and I missed it a little. Who knows, perhaps this functionality will be released in a future update.

The carrying case also serves as a recharger and is made from a material that resembles leather.

It can easily be placed in a backpack or pants pocket without any problems and also fits in the palm of your hand. Its battery is recharged via the USB-C connection at the bottom. Look:

It is necessary to comment on the framework: no matter how aligned the head was, framing an object or person in a photo was an action that had to be done several times. Many times, I had to retake the photo so that the ideal record could be achieved. But, if you take this precaution, you will have good photographs during the day.

Recommended for shows, which generally take place at night, it would be nice if the software that handles the photos was more assertive. This is a problem that is actually easy to solve: improving the algorithm and allowing application processing to be disabled. The photos aren't bad and the lenses alone do a pretty cool job.

My only complaint is not being able to change the proportion of photos and videos, since the captured format is very reminiscent of fisheye lenses, in a more circular format. A real-time preview in the app wouldn't be bad either.

With the of the two lenses, I had some concerns about video stabilization, since you are wearing the glasses on your head. But recording videos, made only in HD quality, is assertive and I even consider it better than capturing photos at night.

Color capture is very objective when we are moving, especially when talking about glasses, which record everything we are seeing. I had the same problem framing videos when recording, but after a while you get the practice.

You can record video in three lengths: 15 seconds, 30 seconds and 60 seconds. Sharing is done via the Meta View application, which you can send to Meta applications (Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook) or to other parts of the cell phone. The five microphones also capture your voice and that of those close to you with excellent quality. I missed noise reduction, but not everything is perfect.

The same lenses can also be used for live broadcasts on Facebook and Instagram. Use is very intuitive: as soon as you open the application, the option to use Meta's Ray-Ban cameras appears on the cell phone screen. So, just double-tap the capture button for the exchange to be carried out.

The best thing about this is that you can lock your cell phone screen and the broadcast will continue to happen to those who follow you, preventing you from holding your smartphone for as long as you are live. Live audio capture is the same as when we are recording offline videos, in addition to the same HD resolution being very interesting. But that the resolution of the live broadcast will depend on the quality of the internet on your smartphone.

After the cameras, this is the big hit with Meta's smart glasses. There are four speakers (two on each arm) at both ends of the glasses and the sound is sent via bone induction, mode open ear. This was my first experience using headphones like this and I really liked it, even more so because I am a person who likes listening to music and no longer needed to take off the headphones while talking to someone.

Of course, because the sound is not sent directly to the ear canal, you end up having to listen to external sound, but the volume of the Ray-Ban Meta's speakers is loud and you may need to lower the volume if you are talking to someone. .

In addition to emitting the sound that would normally come from your smartphone, it is also possible to hear the personal assistant's voice. In this case, you can ask it to tell you the remaining battery percentage or be informed that the camera is recording. A small beep upon photo capture also sounds.

The sound emitted has a very interesting quality: even when I was at the gym, with loud music, I could listen to my personal training playlist without any problems. At times when the volume level was higher, those close to me were also listening to the same music, so it's worth leaving everything at a medium level.
