Personalized flight information 4h5w49
One of the things that can bother you the most when taking a plane trip is having to keep looking for information about your flight on that with a lot of other flights, isn't it?
With the aim of facilitating and improving engers' travel experience, Delta Air Lines, in partnership with Misapplied Sciences, launched the beta experience PARALLEL REALITY, available at this first moment at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, in Michigan, in the United States.

The technology, which was showcased at CES 2020, allows at least 100 people to simultaneously view personalized content about their flight. The screen that shows the flights and routes according to each enger, even in their own language.
Customers who are able to test this new technology must scan their boarding , perform a facial scan through the app Fly delta and proceed to the nearest PARALLEL REALITY screen and that's it! Now just check, exclusively, your flight information, even if there are more people around you.
The PARALLEL REALITY experience means customers will no longer need to search for flight and boarding gate information. Developed by researchers at Nottingham Trent University, the new technological promise is that we will now be able to recharge devices, such as smartwatches and smartphones, using fabrics with built-in mini solar s.
These clothes have 1.200 small solar s, also known as “photovoltaic cells”, which combined can provide around 400 milliwatts of electrical energy extracted from the sun, capable of charging more basic cell phones or even smartwatches.

The "e-fabric” can be used to compose the part of a jacket or even constitute a backpack. Resistant, the fabric with this new technology can be exposed to everyday tasks and even washed like other clothes. The material used in this prototype measures 51 x 27 centimeters, is made of silicone, is airy and resists some chemicals.
Until now, very few people would have considered that their clothing or textiles could be used to generate electricity. And the material we developed, for all intents and purposes, has the look and feel of any ordinary fabric, as it can be wrinkled and machine washed.
Dr Hughes-Riley of the university's Advanced Textile Research Group (ATRG) on the novelty
Or senhor kgatuke, from the Nottingham School of Art & Design says the project shows how e-fabrics can be a giant step forward in the sustainability and projection of other similar technologies.
