It is undeniable, the Xiaomi popularized a gadgets: at Smartband, or smart bracelets. The Mi Band, launched in 2015, changed the market for w and marked the entry of several companies and people in the segment. Samsung, Microsoft, Huawei and several others launched their smart bracelets with cell phone pairing and fitness tracking capabilities. 102r5z

Even before picking up the product, the experience is positive. Starting with the box which is in a very beautiful shade of yellow and characteristic of the products of realme. Inside we find the manual, magnetic cable for charging and the smartband, that is, everything the needs.

It is a very beautiful and discreet device. The body is all plastic that imitates a lot of metal and the strap, which can be changed, is made of a super comfortable and comfortable rubber, there are 18 holes for all types of wrists, from the thinnest to the thickest. There are no physical buttons, just the screen touch 1.4 inches and a bar below the screen that works as a capacitive button.

Although it is possible to change Band 2 wristbands, the realme does not officially sell in Brazil. On the website, we see a model that seems to be made of leather and another that is more sporty — quite beautiful, by the way.

At the bottom are the sensors and this is where the induction charger is connected. The bracelet is completely sealed, allowing water resistance up to 50 meters.

About the screen: there are 500 nits brightness and 167×320 pixels resolution. The brightness is enough for you to be able to see the information on the screen even when there is direct sunlight. It's not the brightest, but it's enough and you can control the brightness in 5 different levels. It's not an OLED screen, but it's a very good and we can barely see the pixels. O touch leaves something to be desired, it is not always necessary and can be a little annoying.

The glass is very resistant and appears to be hydrophobic, the water droplets do not accumulate on top so there are no marks when they evaporate.

In general, it is very well built, gives a feeling of resistance and durability.

The use is very easy and uncomplicated. When taking it out of the box, to turn it on, simply connect it to the charger (which comes in the box) and then a QR Code is displayed to pair with your cell phone and control using the realme Link app (available on the Google Play Store and App Store). For example, when someone calls you and you mute the call on your cell phone, the bracelet continues to vibrate and it is necessary to mute on Band 2 as well. At the Galaxy Watch 4, for example, when muting the cell phone, the bracelet also stops vibrating. The screen frequency is not very high, you notice the images “breaking” when you swipe up or down.

It is possible to control all the functions of the bracelet through realme Link, from changing the order of the menu items, choosing between 14 workouts to be displayed highlighted, changing the watch faces even monitor your physical performance throughout the days. The application is simple and very intuitive and serves both the Band 2 and the company's other products, such as Buds Q2 that we already have review here on Showmetech.

Finally, it is worth ing that there is no built-in GPS.

Item practically indispensable in wearable equipment nowadays, the Band 2 has a real-time heart monitor through the GH3011 sensor. There's even an alert if your heart rate is above a safe zone.

It is possible to monitor blood oxygenation levels, which in a pandemic season helps a lot, especially if you have contracted COVID; it will not be necessary to buy a specific device to monitor the oxygen in your blood. In this feature it does not do so well, since most of the time I had to ask to measure again, as it informed that the measurement had failed, even though it was still as requested.

It's about the same amount of workouts found in Samsung Health (96 workouts), but Band 2 doesn't automatically detect workouts like the Galaxy Watch 4, for example. You need to open the app and configure the exercise you will be doing. I confess that the Band 2 has a much easier interface than the Watch 4. It is very quick and easy to configure and everything can be done in a single application, unlike the Samsung model that requires you to open Galaxy Wearable and Samsung Health to edit and monitor your performance.

Unfortunately, it can't measure very accurately how long the remains standing. I work most of the time sitting and she often reported that I spent a lot more time standing than I actually did.

She also issues those reminders to get moving after a long time stopped. It is very useful for those who work for a long time sitting down. I take advantage of this reminder to go to the kitchen to fill the water bottle, so it's doubly useful. Hydrate yourself, reader, go drink water too.

It's good. Batteries are usually the weak point of products in general, but the realme Band 2 handles the 204 mAh well. The manufacturer says that you can use it for 12 days without plugging it in and you will easily do it for more than 8 days, which is too much for a device with a 1.4-inch screen and brightness of up to 500 nits. It's almost half of what is reported, but when compared to the Watch 4 that lasts practically 1 day, staying longer than 7 days is excellent.

Of course, the use is individual and it is possible to stay longer without connecting to the outlet and if you do a lot of physical exercises monitoring by Band 2, it may be that in 7 days or less it will be necessary to charge. Still, charging a device 4 times a month for about an hour is quite acceptable.

Price and conclusion 4o2xx

By R$289,00 I can't say it's the best bracelet in its price range. Huawei Band 6 and Xiaomi 6 cost about the same and offer better features like GPS, better usability and more accurate functions (like monitoring oxygenation).

It's good, but it could cost around R$163,00, as we found on AliExpress.

Unfortunately, the model I tested came with a problem: it constantly restarts. I tested pairing on 3 cell phones and on all it restarted. From what I researched, I didn't see more s complaining, but it was pretty annoying. Even when she was off she called to restart and came back zero, needing to pair again. Not even going back to factory settings or updating the firmware it stopped restarting.
