In April 2015, the Netflix, in partnership with Marvel provided us with the first season of demolisher (Daredevil), a series that was praised by both Marvel fans and critics. The series presented us with a more raw and “dark” version of Matt Murdock (as it always should be) and even brought Punisher e Electra, classic comic book heroes in their second season.
In November 2015 it was the turn to 'Jessica Jones' the second production resulting from the partnership between the two companies, which was also highly praised and introduced us to Luke Cage.
In addition to these two series already launched, two other characters from Marvel will also have their independent series (Luke Cage, who was featured in 'Jessica Jones' and Iron Fist), and right after all these premieres, which are eagerly awaited, behold, a new miniseries called "the defenders"(The Defenders) in which the four heroes will in the fight against crime (How not to love Marvel, right?!).

In statements given by Charlie cox, protagonist of the Daredevil series, during an event of Netflix in Paris, he said that the recordings will start later this year.
So that the series maintains the excellent standard of other productions Marco Ramirez and Doug Petrie, showrunners of Daredevil season two, executive producer Drew Goddard to helm the miniseries. "Four wonderful casts and four wonderful series together in one amazing story. We are excited for the opportunity that we and the fans have been waiting for.“, said Petrie and Ramirez.
Not much is known about the plot, we only know that the miniseries will bring together Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage e Iron fist e there are speculations that among the threats to be fought by the heroes are the Hydra and King of crime.

With Hydra involved, maybe we can have a crossover with the series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., also from Marvel that fights the organization more directly. to face the King of crime, other characters that I will not mention the name for reasons of spoiler may appear, just wait and see.
As of now, it is possible that the Netflix/Marvel calendar will look like this:
- LUKE CAGE: Confirmed release for September 30, 2016.
- IRON FIST: Premiere scheduled for the first half of 2017.
- THE DEFENDERS: Premiere scheduled for the second half of 2017.
It's a lot of emotions, isn't it?! I'm sure many, like me, will look forward to these premieres. Have something to add? Write in the comments…
