Remedy Entertainment, the renowned company of Alan Wake and the most recent QuantumBreak, published another extremely charismatic game, with a fantastic art direction and several cultural and cinematographic references: Control. The game is one of the great releases of the second half of 2019 and brings the same successful formula that made Remedy be as consolidated as it is today, with a captivating story, engaging characters and gameplay that works, despite the sameness. 4c37y

Em Control, you control Jesse Faden, the new deputy director of Federal Department of Government Control, or as it's called in the game, just Design. Jesse works as an undercover agent for 17 years looking for her brother named Dylan, who after an incident in his homeland Ordinary, were exposed to an incident that caused two entities to enter each of the two, a so-called Polaris and another one of Elevator in the building.
Jesse, upon first entering the Design, discovers that the current director had just killed himself with a weapon called Service Weapon, named in the game as a Power Object, in which a living entity takes hold of an object and becomes one. After noticing that the Service Weapon crying out for Jesse, she discovers that the entity called Hiss has taken control of nearly every employee at the Design, employees who turn hostile and start attacking Jesse. And so the game begins.
Perfect level design and gameplay, but poorly applied 414924

Control takes a lot of inspiration from its predecessors for the application of its development and setting, taking clear references to Alan Wake, Mr. Robot, but all of this seems to become a big mess in the final product.
One of the goals of the game's story is that it really keeps you in the dark about the events of the event that is taking place and also the facts involved in the story, but everything is so "played" and only accepted by the protagonist that, throughout the game, doubts and more doubts accumulate and only few answers are given to the player – and that's if he stops, reads all the files found by the environment, listens to each of the text files and pays close attention to each game's dialogue.

Your gameplay. while mechanically perfect, it's consistently proven to be one of the game's most damaging and criticized points. The game gives you interesting mechanics such as flanking the enemy or using the scenario to your advantage, as an option to cover behind some objects, but it becomes impossible to do once you realize that every enemy on the map has its artificial intelligence set to go at the player, regardless of where he is.
Situations with enemies kamikazand are the least of your problems once you realize how unbalanced the combat is. Several enemies in all corners of the map attacking simultaneously without any kind of truce and using weapons that kill the protagonist almost instantly. Not to mention the lengthy reloading that the game needs after each death. It gets frustrating some moments when you have to die 4, 7, 10 times on a map just to decorate and study how enemies work. Go blindly into a new environment and certain death.

O Level Design and the position of enemies doesn't help the player in any way either. With extremely dark environments and positioning enemies in high places and practically unreachable at times and without any kind of help from the interface, such as a damage indicator or even a mini-map, the player continually wanders through the scenario without being able to progress to the next environment until that all enemies are killed, making a kind of hide and seek game with an enemy that you don't know where it is and that keeps shooting at you.
The abilities available to Jesse help the player a lot, such as Telekinesis, which gives the possibility to throw objects scattered around the map as well as parts of the scenario, pieces of stones from the ground and even the enemies themselves. However, the rest of your arsenal becomes increasingly weak and indispensable as the game progresses. Skills like Flying, for example, only leave you more exposed to attacks, causing you to die more often.
Perfectly orchestrated despite your problems 6ld69

Something that is easily noticed is the wonderful art direction and choice for colors present in the game, with a dark palette and shades of blood on a white canvas and also of course, the movement Bauhaus present in all environments and structures of the game. Control It also has a captivating and extremely interesting story, with facts that are constantly mirrored in our reality and always repeating the most important question that is asked all the time: Are you really in control?
Another strong point of Control is something already recurrent in the games published by Remedy: an gameplay extremely fluid, with a very detailed movement whether in combat with enemies or even in their cutscenes, which are rendered in the game's own graphics engine, enriching the details of the environment and taking the facial expression of the characters to a new level.

Control also brings the innovative Ray Tracing, a new technology capable of delivering the best graphics experience the gaming world has ever seen, but on consoles this experience has not been received in a polite way. Constant frame drops issues have been reported during the gameplay in very detailed scenarios. Despite the problems, Control manages to deliver a solid experience, with a gameplay extremely fun. In addition, the company promised to improve the quality of the game on consoles, but did not give a specific date.
In addition to its wonderful setting, the game's soundtrack leaves nothing to be desired. Choosing darker tones to suit the mysterious and at the same time macabre atmosphere that the game provides, while offering frantic heavy metal beats as soon as you enter moments of action or combat. Control It's not only pleasing to the eyes, but also to the ears, making the player delve deeper with each minute spent inside the game.

Control is just the beginning 1z431f
Despite its problems, Control is a must-have experience for all game lovers. With a wonderful level design and environments full of details thanks to new technology of Ray Tracing, makes every corner the player looks at is never the same. With extremely captivating characters, a smooth progression through the environment no matter how confusing, a memorable soundtrack and a remarkable story with an unforgettable outcome.

Control it has 11 hours in its main campaign and 23 hours if the player seeks to do everything that is in the game. The game is now available and was published the day 27 August 2019 to Playstation 4, Xbox One e PC.
Bad analysis. You can see that whoever analyzed it is a pretty casual person, who only knows how to progress in a game if given a helping hand. The game doesn't become bad because you're a pretty noob.
