A Samsung has been investing in its accessories for a long time and this year we had not one, but two bluetooth headphones. At the beginning of the year we had the Galaxy Buds Pro as a highlight and now we have the launch of Galaxy Buds2, which mixes the simple with the . The experience with the new headphones was very interesting, since I came directly from their predecessor, the Galaxy Buds +, which are still excellent bluetooth headphones, especially when it comes to battery life. However, I needed to test this one. Active Noise Cancellation and I took advantage of Black Friday to buy the new model. Check out our full Buds2 review now. 3m4f34

Os Galaxy Buds2 are a natural evolution of the aforementioned Galaxy Buds+. If the old model looked like a “loaf of bread”, in the new model, it looks like the compact mirrors of “Three Spies Too Much”. My references are totally out of line, I know, but let's face it, it makes sense.

The case is new and square with rounded edges, just like the brother "pros” and this also applies to the headphones, which follow the exact same design, but without the shiny details on the touch sensor part. On the inside we have an LED that shows the battery level of the headphones and the same happens on the outside, but to show the battery of the case.
A very curious detail that I particularly found very beautiful is that all the cases are white, changing only the inner part, following the color of the Buds. And speaking of Buds, they are more comfortable than ever. weighing only 5g each one, they have an excellent fit and super light weight.
Going back to the unconventional references, if the Buds Live looked a lot like small beans, the Buds2 are oval and look a lot like those peanut M&Ms and well, I promise this was the last comparison in the review.
Usage and connectivity 4c5pl
The new oval shape of the Galaxy Buds2 was a little strange at first, but I soon adapted. I used them for several hours straight and there were few times I got tired of having them in my ear. However, the reason for the tiredness is much more due to being headphones in-ear than the format itself. Because they have to fit deep into your ear canal, it's almost impossible for them not to be at least a little uncomfortable.
When using the new headphones bluetooth from Samsung lying down, I also saw considerable improvement. In the previous model, it was quite uncomfortable to use the headphones, lying on the pillow, while in the Buds2 it is much more comfortable.

One thing that bothered me, however, was the system of touch in the headphones. It's been around since the first Galaxy Buds, but for some reason, even though it now has more functions, I felt it was less accurate than the Buds+. Maybe it's a lack of habit, but many times I preferred to use the palm of the hand rather than the fingers to activate the gestures.
To make the Galaxy Buds2 work, all you'll need is a device with at least Android 7.0 and 1,5GB of RAM. They have Bluetooth 5.2 and connect quickly with Qualquer device, but even better with Samsung's.
Anyway, you will configure all of your Buds through the app Galaxy Wearables and in my tests, the Buds2 had an excellent range until they started to have some interference, something around 10 meters.
sound and microphone 241t5h
When we talk about sound in bluetooth headphones, there is always an imbalance in one of the frequencies. Fortunately, the Galaxy Buds2 manage to balance them all and guarantee a great experience. I listen to a lot of different genres and I it that I started to give more value to the bass when using the Buds2. Good examples of this bass are on of pop songs like Doja Cat. However, the song that left me with a smile on my face was afterthought do Joji.
I also walked by artists like BTS, slowdive, Sonic Youth, A Day to , Red Hot Chilli Peppers and many others. As I said, we have a great balance of mid, bass and high frequencies here, so unless you're an extremely demanding person, you won't have any problems.

To help with the experience, Galaxy Buds2 come with ANC technology (Active Noise Cancellation) and that at first I didn't feel any difference from the headphones just with the conventional rubber insulation, but in very noisy places, they make a big difference.
already the mode Ambient sound brings some very interesting improvements from the previous version. Now we can customize several things, such as the volume of the sound on each of the earphones. An interesting point to mention is that the intelligent Ambient Sound mode included in the Pro version is not here, so if this is of extreme importance to you, it is worth checking.
Finally we have the microphones of the Buds and here we have 3 in each one of them. If your intention is to record audios on WhatsApp or have meetings indoors, it will handle it without problems, but don't expect a result with isolation from external noises from a professional microphone.
Battery and autonomy 272fy
According to Samsung, the Buds2, with the ANC active, can have a lifespan of 5 hours and another 15 hours, considering our dear charging case. In the tests I did with the ANC active, the result was as promised. With the ANC off, I managed about 7 hours straight and as the effect only makes a real difference in cases of a lot of noise, I can have better autonomy most of the time.

It is important to point out that I always used the headphones around the 80% volume, so the battery can perform more or less depending on the volume level you are using. As I already mentioned, the charging case guarantees another 15 hours or three more full charges for your Galaxy Buds2.
This is more than enough for most people's use and for me, who listens to music whenever possible, I didn't miss the drums at any time. Of course there are other bluetooth headphones with a autonomy better, but for the use that Buds2 propose, the result is great.
Galaxy Wearable App 161a5o
As with everything we have today in the field of technology, we couldn't miss an app to configure our beloved Galaxy Buds2. O Galaxy Wearable It's been on the market for a few years now and works as a hub for every Samsung device you have, from headphones to Galaxy Watch.

The look is simple and refers to the famous One UI present in today's Sansung Smartphones and tablets. In the case of the Buds2, this is where we have access to all their settings, updates and details about the battery percentage of the headphones and case.
Among the settings included in the app, we have some interesting options, including:
- touch controls: Here you can define what each touch gesture will play on the headphones. A quick or double tap, or hold the left or right earphone.
- headphones settings: where you will get all the main settings and features of your Galaxy Buds2. In addition to the Equalizer, it also has two new features called “headphone detection” and “headphone adjustment test”.
- headphone detection: With this function active, calls will play through the bluetooth headphones when they are in the ear and through the speakers when not, even if the Buds2 are connected to your tablet or smartphone.
- Headphone fit test: the name says it all, but this function is for you to learn the best fit of the headphones for your ear, in addition to knowing better which rubber fits best.
- Find my headphones: The search function has been around since older models, but it is still very useful. If you lose your headphones — as happened recently while I was sleeping with the headphones on — you can go to the app and look for them and a sound will sound.
Price and availability 1s705x

Conclusion 60664y
Samsung has been doing several tests on its Galaxy Buds for a few years now. We already had the “little bean” that brought the ANC technology to the company's headphones and that was later applied to the Buds Pro and now taken to the Buds2.

Samsung's new headphones can be seen as follows: if you're looking for something 100% and you can invest in it, go straight to the Galaxy Buds Pro, but if the Buds2 already has everything you're looking for and it's for R$ 500 or less, choose them. You Galaxy Buds2 bring together the best of the Buds Live and Buds Pro in a slightly simpler model, combining great autonomy and excellent comfort.
