TVs spend, on average, 20 hours a day with the screen off, that is, black. Knowing this, the Samsung created a 4K UHD TV model that when not in use acts as a frame for displaying artwork and photos. THE The FrameTV it's a 4K UHD TV when on and a work of art when off.
It has three modes of use:
- Art Mode: A Samsung already delivers 100 works of art on TV and divided into 10 different categories. They are available in this mode;
- My collection: In this mode the consumer can display their favorite personal photos and customize them through the smartphone application SmartView;
- The Frame Store: This is the artistic modality that makes possible the partnership with the YellowKorner and all other partners in the art world. Through this virtual store, consumers can purchase pieces à la carte (R$66,00) and/or through a monthly subscription (R$16,00) with access to hundreds of paintings, paintings and photographs.
A The Frame goes far beyond works of art. It has intelligent motion and lighting sensors; the unique wall mount no-gap, which leaves almost no space between the TV and the wall, plus customizable frame options to make it really look like a painting.
