When a company launches a smartphone with two versions, one of which has less power, it is already common to expect that this version will be chosen to be marketed in Brazil. In addition, the "lite" versions dominate the market, bringing the same look, with inferior experience.
Fortunately, the Samsung decided to give a little joy to Brazilians who intend to buy the new flagship from the company, Galaxy Note7. The device that was launched in the greatest Olympic climate, in an event that took place in different parts of the world, being presented here at Rio Olympic Park, should be marketed in two versions.

The difference is given by the processor: a device is equipped with the processor Exynos 8890 manufactured by Samsung, while the other uses a Snapdragon 820, Qualcomm.
Note7 with chip from Qualcomm will be exclusive to the US, and the device with a Samsung processor is the model that will be marketed here.
Now get ready for the surprise: in a test carried out by PhoneArena, it was noted that the version with processor Exynos, it is up to 71% more efficient than the American version.
Two more devices were included in the test, LG G5, who also use the Snapdragon 820, to compare performance.

In one of the tests, the devices were playing audio in the Spotify streaming e Tidal for 30 minutes, with the audio quality set to high, and the Galaxy S7 with Exynos achieved 50% higher efficiency than other chip-enabled devices Snapdragon, consuming less energy.
After several tests, in general, the Galaxy Note7 with chip from Samsung proved to be 71% more efficient in power management compared to its chip sibling from Qualcomm.
The graph also exposes Samsung's bad use of using the Snapdragon 820 compared to competitors, as the Note7 with such a chip has always been poorly in tests, and with a big difference from devices with the same chip.
Fortunately, the version that will be sold in Brazil will be the best version of Note7 that Samsung produced, no version "lite”, “mini”, "SE ”, or another name. Gold Medal for Korean!
