In 2007 the Spirit unmanned vehicle of NASA, may have found evidence of the existence of alien life in Mars, but scientists at the US space agency were unable to interpret the find at the time. Scientists at the University of Arizona decided to study the images obtained and found evidence that there was or still is life (even if microscopic) on the Red Planet. 671p4o
Arizona scientists decided to search Earth for rock formations similar to those found in the crater Gusev, near the equator of Mars, an area of 27 square meters photographed in 2007. Rock formations almost identical to the peculiar shape found on Mars, similar to fingers, were found in El Tatio, in Chile. The structures were formed by a combination of hot springs and mainly microorganisms.

El Tatio was chosen for having conditions very similar to Mars. It is situated at 4,2 meters above sea level, has extreme temperatures and a lot of exposure to ultraviolet rays.
Will the next mission look for life on Mars? 3l1hf
The findings greatly excited the scientists, and the rover's next mission mars rover in 2020 could be useful to confirm that the structures photographed in 2007 are indeed living microorganisms. If the discovery is not confirmed, at least we know that the NASA and SpaceX are trying hard to get humans to the red planet in a few years.
